Gemma however pushed the idea of marriage on the two because of her desire to have grand kids. Wendy did, however, mention a three year period spent as a "Crow eater" before hooking up with Jax.

He blames himself for bailing when she became pregnant. Wendy sees Able for the first time and is horrified that Abel is so small and unhealthy. Jax says that Abel stays in the NICU until he is healthy and then Wendy goes to rehab again. The pair hug.
"Capybara"[]
Wendy finishes her stint in rehab and returns to Charming, she enters her house which evidently she has been kicked out of.
Wendy then heads to St. Thomas, hoping to see Abel. Tara allows her and Wendy is very grateful as Tara isn't supposed to allow Wendy near Abel. Wendy tells Tara that she is living in a sober living house and is doing well.

The pair have a surprisngly pleasant conversation, with Gemma apologising for what she did to Wendy, stating that she was just very angry at the time. Wendy is even more shocked when Gemma says that she wants Wendy and Jax to stay together with Abel and be a family again. Gemma says she will do whatever she can to make it happen before kissing Wendy and leaving.
"The Sleep of Babies"[]
Wendy heads to St. Thomas to see Abel but is horrified to see Jax and Tara kissing. She quickly leaves and returns to Jax's house where Gemma is decorating in preparation for Abel coming home today. Gemma essentially admits to the accusation, but states that everyone still gets what they want in the end. Wendy says she doesn't want to interfere with other people's lives. Gemma reminds Wendy that she isn't a saint.
Wendy finds Tara out on her break and asks to speak to her. Wendy asks if Tara and Jax are together and Tara admits she doesn't know how to answer it. Tara tells Wendy that she doesn't want to discuss it but Wendy tells her she needs to. Tara continues to try to dodge questions and tells Wendy she needs to check in to her sober living facility and take some time, if Jax is supposed to be there when she gets out then he will be. Wendy asks where Tara will be who tells her that she needs to get to work. Tara begins to walk away as Wendy tells her that she must know deep down that Gemma will never let her be with Jax, so she might as well quit while she still can.

Season 4 & 5[]
Wendy returns to Charming with the intention of getting to her son. She says Abel deserves to know the truth. "Out of respect" she asks Tara's permission first, causing Tara to have a bit of a breakdown. Wendy uses the argument that she is a recovered addict who turned her life around and would probably be seen as the most stable adult in Abel's life if she should chose to pursue custody; giving Jax and Tara the ultimatum to let her see Abel or risk losing him all together. She's gotten much more calculating, and may prove to be a force to be reckoned with in future seasons. Wendy is later seen at Jax's home. Chuck Marstein answers the door and informs Wendy that Abel is in his room. Wendy walks to Abel's room where she is met by Gemma. She divulges that she is now interested in women romantically and lives with her new lover in her apartment. After she threatens Jax and Tara, Jax shows up and threatens her, if she ever tries doing anything against him, or Tara. To make his point, he shoots her in the arm with a syringe.
Season 6[]
Wendy returns again, conspiring with Tara in a plan to gain full custody of Abel and Thomas if Tara should go to prison. To do this, Tara has Wendy feed Gemma a series of dirt and lies in order to make her agree to help Wendy get full custody. The guilt of Tara's methods for custody eat at Wendy, causing her to relapse back into heroin use. She is found unconscious by Nero and Unser in her apartment and is taken care of by Gemma, who helps to get her back into a rehab facility.
Season 7[]
Wendy returns to her apartment to find that Juice has been staying there while on the lam from SAMCRO. Wendy helps Gemma and Unser hide Juice from the club and she continues to help out as a sitter for Thomas and Abel. In the episode "Faith and Despondency", Jax finally confesses to Abel that Wendy is his biological mother in order for Abel to have a mother figure in his life following Tara's death, leaving Wendy grateful to Jax for telling the truth. When Nero expresses his desire to move to his uncle's farm to Jax, Jax suggests that he bring Wendy, Abel and Thomas with him. Surprised, Wendy agrees to go with Nero. In the series finale, Jax tells Nero that he is "going away" and that he is selling his house and the garage and giving the money to Wendy so she can raise his sons. He requests that Nero tell Wendy the truth about everything. In their final meeting, Jax says his goodbyes to his sons and tells Wendy she's a good mom and that he loves her. Wendy senses something is wrong, and Nero promises to tell her everything later. She goes with Nero, Abel and Thomas to the farm, unaware of Jax's imminent suicide.

Season 5[]
"I Must Go in Now for the Fog is Rising"[]
Wendy is driving down the road when she sees a man lying on the ground, he has fallen off his bike. Wendy exits and helps the man up. He starts to limp towards his bike, Wendy tells him that her ex was in a motorcycle club too. He asks her what club, but she refuses to say, telling him she doesn't know if they are cool with each other. She carries on stating that she wasn't going to stop, but she would've wanted somebody to stop for him, or her sons, who ride dirt bikes.
He examines his bike and the woman assists him in picking it up. Wendy innocently asks him if he has a girlfriend, he says that he does. The woman continues saying that she feels sorry for her, when he walks out the door she doesn't know if he is coming home. If it's not the bike, it's the life. He tells Wendy that is what she signed up for but she scoffs, saying they were just stupid to fall in love with people in the outlaw life.
The man says he is sure someone will come by, and the woman goes to leave, she turns around and tells him to just get in the car, she'll give him a ride.
As Wendy and the man, who we know as Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes drive back to civilisation, EZ asks about her ex. Wendy tells him that he is no longer around, EZ quickly apologises and Wendy shrugs, she says that EZ reminds her of him. He seems very detached, and she never knew what was going on in his head. EZ says he feels like there is a grey veil across his life, he can see the world but he can't touch it. Wendy says that it's trauma, she is a recovering addict so knows how it is.
Wendy drops EZ off at a garage, and says the mechanic will give him a ride back to his bike and repair it. EZ graciously thanks Wendy for stopping. He goes to outstretch his hand but Wendy places her hand on his face, and tells him to push through the veil, see his girlfriend and let her see him. She gets in her car and leaves.
Trivia[]
- Wendy is one of only two main characters that never killed anyone during the show's run, the other one being Half Sack Epps.
- Ironically, as Tara adopted Abel and treated him as if he was her own son, Wendy did the same for Tara's son Thomas after her death.
- Another coincidence involving her and Tara was that when Tara left Charming, Wendy was there for Jax. And when Tara died, Wendy was there for him as well. In neither of the cases Jax had gotten over Tara and in both cases it seemed he only wanted sex from her, as he stated Tara was the only woman he's ever loved and that he could only see her face when making love to another woman.
- When Jax shows Luann the Caracara studio that'll be used in the porn production, Luann is afraid she will be killed and Jax says they won't "Adriana her." A reference to Adriana La Cerva, the character who Drea de Matteo portrayed on "the Sopranos" who was killed.
