O*M*F*G!!!
I’ve just finished watching the Sons of Anarchy Series Finale & I now sit here tears streaming, heart & body bursting with irrepressible emotions!!
What a horrible, wonderful, heartbreaking and beautiful culmination of the phenomenon that is Jax Teller and the Sons of Anarchy!! Jax Teller’s incomparable self-sacrifice is exquisitely resplendent and heartwrenching. Watching Jax Teller abdicate his presidency and relinquish all the impedimenta which had hitherto inhibited him & prevented the realization of his fiercest desires for his family & for his club was THE most heartrending, mind-blowing, overwhelmingly poignant display of magnanimity & beneficence I've ever seen.
As Jax carried out his self-appointed responsibilities during this final episode, one might be tempted to dispute his altruism; however, no one can dispute the determination, fortitude, loyalty, & love required to allow one’s self to surrender all in order to finally attain that for which both father and son, John & Jax Teller, each had struggled:
- Transforming SAMCRO into a legitimate embodiment of Emma Goldstein’s now famous “Anarchy” quote
- AND
- Ending the succession of father and son as outlaw.
Followed by countless law enforcement personnel, riding J.T.’s once again restored 1946 Harley-Davidson FL Panhead down Highway 580, Jax’s surrender to & embrace of the destiny shared by his father before him is at once overwhelmingly magnificent & beautiful as well as gutwrenchingly, horrendously, dispiriting. Jax's brilliant smile and the way his whole being is suffused with serenity & tranquility during those last moments will haunt me for a long time to come . . .
Mr. Kurt Sutter, I applaud and salute you, sir. I believe Sons of Anarchy will prove to be your magnum opus. I honestly cannot fathom anything comparable to the masterstroke of genius. You have simultaneously blessed me immeasurably & ruined my life eternally . . . thank you.
