Templo Meetings[]
Gilly: What did Creep say?
Hank: Got disconnected.
Gilly: How come no one told the fucking rest of us?
Hank: Because we had to find out who it was. We had to be sure, and we couldn't risk it.
Guero: Fucking Jess, man. I really liked her.
Bishop: Yeah, fuck that cunt.
Hank: Yeah, it turns out her sister's Boston Terry from SAMDINO's old lady. That's how they, uh, just happened to be ahead of us. It's the only way they'd be getting that information. The good news is, it wasn't anyone in the club. And we weren't trying to keep it form everyone. We had to be careful. And Nestor? He did a solid job.
Downer: Fucking Justin Bieber? You can't trust anyone, man.
EZ: Hank and Nestor took care of it... to keep us safe. It was an ugly decision. But there's no way to defeat the enemy without bloodshed. There's no way to defeat the enemy without discomfort. Even our own. Which is why I took the deal with Gretton.
Hank: It'll kill us.
Bishop: You fucking kidding me? You're gonna take this bullshit deal without talking to the fucking rest of us? Thought you weren't gonna dictate.
EZ: We're about to push over the top. To have to start over, to find new distributors... can't take out foot off the gas. We need the prisons, to protect our brothers. We need to own Iron War, Storm 88, to keep our people safe. This is what will win us the war. And this is bigger than any one of us. This means we'll own the pipeline. And this will get us closer to owning all of California.
Guero: From here, all the way to Charming.
EZ: From here past fucking Charming and out east, through Arizona. We're getting everything we ever wanted. It all belongs to us now. This deal... will end the war. This deal... will make sure all the bloodshed... is from our enemies now.
(Not technically a Templo meeting)
EZ: Happy was on our territory. And, uh, it was a long time coming.
Diaz: And now you've blown up the only thing keeping us safe up North.
EZ: You no longer have to worry about that. The deal I made today gives us the entire prison pipeline in California. Every CO, every prison. Every LEO, inside and out answers to us. Iron War, Storm 88. Which means, if any MC wants their brother inside to survive, they have got to align themselves with the Mayans, and against the Sons.
Diaz: What about the brothers? Grim Bastards, SoA, their bond is strong and that leaves us a strong enemy inside.
EZ: Charming gambled when they let Isaac run wild. Sure, it caused some damage to us, but he's a cancer. He caused more damage to them. To how they've perceived. Lucky and the Bastards, the fact that he came to me, rode up here from L.A, shows that the SoA relationship is rocky. It just, um, needs to be tipped over the edge.
Diaz: Align with the fucking cops. Nazis.
EZ: The more brutally we fight, the faster we achieve peace. You all wanted this war to end. This is how. Now...
Hank: (places two wads of money on table for Diaz and Jinx)
EZ: Saves us a run.
Diaz: What's that?
EZ: The future.
