Season 4 refers, collectively, to the 14 episodes which comprise the fourth season of the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. Making its debut on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 to a total viewership of 4.93 million viewers, the season makes its appearance with the episode, "Out". Viewership fluctuated as new episodes aired on subsequent Tuesdays, airing over a duration of an 92 day period. The series' fourth season came to an end on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, airing to a viewership of 4.24 million viewers, with the episode "To Be, Act 1". The chronicles of SAMCRO continue in the series' fifth season.

Clay and Jax make a deal with Gallindo drug cartel representative Romero Parada. They agree to supply weapons to, and transport cocaine on behalf of, the cartel. Clay asks for Jax's support in the club's vote on the deal, Jax agrees begrudgingly in exchange for the freedom to leave the club when Clay eventually steps down as president. Gemma finds a note from John Teller in Tara's things, and takes it to Unser. After the clubhouse has been destroyed in a show of power by Roosevelt, Tara manages to change the mood by announcing her engagement with Jax. | |||||
