Officer Pollen is a corrupt member of the Stockton Police Department on Mayans MC, a spinoff of the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. Played by American actor Todd Stashwick, Pollen makes his debut on the season two episode, "Xaman-Ek" and makes one further appearance in "Camazotz", where he meets his demise.
Biography[]
Pollen is a corrupt cop, using his position to bend those around him to his will. His partner, O'Grady is also corrupt. Pollen is shown to be cruel and spineless. He preys on those who are weaker than him by using his position as a police officer.
Pollen has an ex-wife and children. It is mentioned by O'Grady to the Mayans Santo Padre charter that Pollen's family have "been through enough" with him. Hinting that he was possibly abusive in some way and his relationship with his children is poor.
Season 2[]
"Xaman-Ek"[]
Pollen and his partner O'Grady are patrolling by the Mayans Stockton charter clubhouse. They notice a member they have never seen before, Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes and drive alongside him and threaten him. Will Medina of the Mayans approaches and tells the pair to back off, O'Grady spits on EZ's bike and drives away.
The pair pick up a local hooker named Hope and Pollen asks O'Grady to film the acts. Medina approaches and out of fear Pollen shoots him, the pair flee upon realising what they've done.
"Camazotz"[]
Pollen is hiding out at his mother's house. He expects that the Mayans will be coming after him. He hears from O'Grady, who claims he is outside. Suspicious, he heads outside and only finds Hope, he approaches her but quickly returns inside when he hears commotion from inside. He runs back to the house and finds his mother being held at gunpoint by the Mayans, he fires off a few rounds but is unable to hit anyone. Pollen's mother is furious that he has bought trouble to her house. Pollen tries to reason with the Mayans before he is knocked out cold from behind.
Pollen later awakens upside down and realises that his mother's corpse is lying right below him. He only has a few moments to gather his surroundings, he sees the Stockton Mayans arming up, they say nothing as they shoot him to death.
