Michael Irby is an American actor who plays the role of Obispo 'Bishop' Losa on Mayans MC, a spinoff of the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. Playing the role of the President of the Mayans Motorcycle Club, Santo Padre charter, Michael makes his debut in the series' premiere episode, "Perro/Oc", in the series' first season. Playing a recurring role through the same season, he was last seen in the Season 1 finale episode, "Cuervo/Tz'ikb'uul".

Michael Irby stars as “Obispo ‘Bishop’ Losa,” the President of Mayans M.C., Santo Padre Charter. From a broken home in the Salton Sea, he was taken in by the family of his cousin, Marcus Alvarez, Mayans M.C. Founder and National President. After a T.O.D. in Iraq and one in Pelican Bay, Bishop was sent by Alvarez to set up and run the critical Mexi-Cali border charter. He is as deadly as he is loyal.

Irby is an American actor and producer. Growing up, his soccer skills took him to Europe to play with Team USA. He studied acting in New York City.

His film credits include Pinero, Flightplan and Fast Five. He is best known for his portrayal of “Charles Grey” in The Unit. Additional TV credits include True Detective, Almost Human, Line of Fire and Haunted. He has recurred on the Emmy®-nominated HBO series Barry, as well as CBS’ SEAL Team.

Irby produced the short film Waiting For You, written and directed by Susan Matus, which was an official selection for the Cannes Short Film Corner, IFFWC Berlin, Dances With Films, the California Women's Film Festival, and the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.

He currently resides in Los Angeles.
