The Mayans Tucson Charter was a charter of the Mayans Motorcycle Club located in Tucson, Arizona, on Mayans MC, a spinoff of the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. They made their debut in season two episode "Xbalanque" and made regular appearances until the season four premiere, "Cleansing of the Temple".

History[]

Little is known about how the Tucson charter came to be formed. It can be assumed that charter was formed by Marcus Alvarez, founder of the Mayans Motorcycle Club. Throughout 2021 and 2022, the Tucson charter made enemies with other Mayan charters, forcing them in to a civil war with the majority of other charters. The Tucson charter was unable to survive this war and by 2022, all members were either dead or had joined other charters.

Season 2[]

The charter is summoned by the Santo Padre charter to discuss their new Arizona state prison heroin pipeline and resolve an incident which caused three inmates to die from overdose due to product alteration. When Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes is summoned by Santo Padre charter Presidente Obispo "Bishop" Losa to help recognize the altered product from a pack of drug bricks, using his eidetic memory. EZ correctly determines the altered brick due to the charter ID being misplaced, laying the responsibility on the Tucson charter.

Once Santo Padre vice president Che "Taza" Romero, subjects the drug sample to a purity test, it fails, yielding damning evidence. Ibarra and VP lay the blame on their road captain, Ticker, who was alone with the package at the airport to pick up. Without being able to provide an excuse, Ticker tries to pull out a gun hidden in his boot, but is easily stopped by Hank "Tranq" Loza. Now with his sin in full display, the Tucson charter is given the instruction to deal with their renegade at their discretion, but that it be done by the end of the day.

Ticker is taken to the garage, held up in his arms by chains, while administered a sample of his own drug by Pavia, killing him shortly after from the same overdose he helped cause.

Season 3[]

After partnering with Santo Padre and joining them on their pan to make Bishop the one King, they scheme with Santo Padre to kill Canche and Oscar "El Oso" Ramos. They are successful in killing Ramos and also believe Canche was killed too. Afterwards, Ibarra addresses the other Presidents and wants to return to peaceful ways, he is executed by Diaz on Canche's orders for his treachery.

Season 4[]

The remaining members of the Tucson charter are killed during the raid on Santo Padre. Lobo is the only known member alive, at some point between "Cleansing of the Temple" and "Hymn Among the Ruins" (4 months), he patches over to Sahuarita. It is possible that the Mayans Tucson chapter is either inactive or have disbanded entirely.
