The Mayans Motorcycle Club, Santo Padre charter was a charter of the Mayans Motorcycle Club located in Santo Padre, California, on Mayans MC, a spinoff of the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. The charter first appears in the season one premiere, "Perro/Oc" and is present in every episode, appearing for a final time in the season five finale, "Slow to Bleed Fair Son".

Background[]

It was founded by Obispo "Bishop" Losa, cousin of Marcus Alvarez. The main goal of the charter was to strengthen Mayan presence in southern California, the charter was formed around 2014. It is the primary group in the Mayans M.C. series.

Timeline[]

  • The Santo Padre Charter was founded at some point in 2014, Bishop was named Presidente of the charter.
  • The charter become allies with the Galindo Cartel at some point after being formed.
  • Between the years of 2014-2018: Che "Taza" Romero, Hank "Tranq" Loza, Michael "Riz" Ariza, Neron "Creeper" Vargas, Angel Reyes, Johnny "Coco" Cruz and Gilberto "Gilly" Lopez join the charter. Taza was made Vice Presidente, Hank was El Pacificador, Creeper was Capitan Del Camino and Riz was El Secretario.
  • Member Hazy Davy, died 2014, Xihuitl died in 2016, Big Rich died in 2018.
  • Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes, began Prospecting for the club sometime in 2018, sponsored by his brother, Angel.
  • The Galindo Cartel allies with Los Olvidados, making Santo Padre allies also.
  • Riz is stripped of his El Secretario flash in 2018 after hustling on the side using club resources. Angel replaces him.
  • Club founder Marcus Alvarez leaves the club in 2018 to join the Galindo Cartel. He creates the Rey Des Los Mayas and gives power to Bishop, Oscar "El Oso" Ramos and Canche.
  • In 2019, Santo Padre engages in a war with the Vatos Malditos Motorcycle Club. Riz is critically wounded by the VM and is later finished off by Taza, to make it looks like he died at the hands of the VM. Santo Padre respond by wiping out the VM; and subsequently destroying a gun deal between the Mayans, the Sons of Anarchy and the VM.
  • EZ is voted in as a full patch in 2019.
  • Esteban "Steve" Estrada began Prospecting for the club sometime in 2020, sponsored by Hank.
  • Santo Padre attempt to wipe out the other Rey Des Los Mayas to leave Bishop as the sole Mayan King. They ally with Tucson to stop drug shipments to the other charters. They are able to kill Ramos, another Mayan King but are unable to get support from other notable charters.
  • Coco is excommunicated from the club, after persistent absence. Steve is made a Full Patch, but commits suicide hours later.
  • Other Mayan charters launch an assault on the Santo Padre clubhouse, beginning a civil war in 2022.
  • Alvarez returns to Santo Padre to end the war, he becomes Presidente of the charter, Bishop and Taza are made joint Vice Presidente.
  • Santo Padre and other charters struggle to peacefully coexist, tensions still run high from the civil war. The club begin a partnership with the Lobos New Generation Cartel. Coco is allowed to re-join the club under a probationary period.
  • Nestor Oceteva began Prospecting for the club sometime in 2022, sponsored by Alvarez.
  • Bishop is stripped of his Vice Presidente flash by Alvarez, Taza resigns in tandem. EZ is made Vice Presidente.
  • The Sons of Anarchy begin a war with the Mayans in 2022 by attacking the Oakland charter. Coco is killed.
  • Santo Padre and the rest of the charters are able to unite and respond to the attack from the Sons by wiping out the majority of the Sons of Anarchy, San Bernardino charter.
  • Taza leaves Santo Padre to join the Nomad charter, not liking the direction the charter is taking.
  • Alvarez attempts to seek peace between the Sons and the Mayans. His peaceful attempts at reconciliation do not go down well with the club, he is removed as the Presidente via a killswitch vote, and EZ becomes Presidente. Bishop is made Vice Presidente.
  • Creeper is arrested after allowing himself to take blame for numerous murders committed by the club. His Capitan Del Camino flash is given to Gilly.
  • The partnership between the LNG and the Mayans end, as a heroin warehouse was burned down and a Mayan is the prime suspect.
  • EZ unites Southern and Northern Californian Mayan charters under the "California" rocker. The Inland Empire charter and Orange County charter are created by him, and Hector is made Presidente of Inland Empire.
  • Downer, Lobo and Guero all transfer to Santo Padre. Bottles began Prospecting for the club sometime in 2023, sponsored by Guero.
  • Lobo dies in 2023 after an accidental fentanyl overdose, the club had been cooking it on the clubhouse property.
  • Santo Padre make allies with the Broken Saints Motorcycle Club.
  • Santo Padre make allies with Cole and his crew, a mercenary group who are part of the LNG drug pipeline. They begin to sell fentanyl to them.
  • The Grim Bastards Motorcycle Club, South Gate attempt to host peace talks between the Mayans and the Sons; it ends in bloodshed.
  • Creeper is shanked to death in Niland Correctional Facility by Storm 88 member Christopher Miller, on orders of Ezekiel Reyes.
  • Santo Padre become the distributor of fentanyl for all prisons across California after impressing Cole and his superior, Gretton.
  • Alvarez seemingly quits the club after a long period of inactivity.
  • The partnership with the Broken Saints ends after their land is attacked by SAMDINO, and the Mayans fentanyl cookhouse is burned down.
  • Santo Padre become allies with the Grim Bastards, South Gate as they too join the fight against the Sons.
  • The Mayans and their allies unite and take the fight to SAMDINO. They kill numerous members and force many others to surrender and leave the Sons.
  • Nestor is voted in as a full patch.
  • Santo Padre discover that EZ was a DEA informant. Collectively, the club stab him to death and excommunicate Angel for being complicit.
  • Bishop becomes Presidente once again.
  • Bottles is voted in as a full patch.
  • In 2023, Santo Padre is wiped out by the ATF under orders of Lincoln Potter, all remaining members are killed.
