The Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Long Beach Charter is a charter of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club located in Long Beach, California, on the FX original series Sons of Anarchy.
History[]
Chico Vellenueva, a veteran of the Vietnam War and one of the members of First 9 of Redwood Original in Charming, began recruiting veterans from Vietnam in 1970. In total he needed a minimum of nine (eight and himself).
That's how he began making long trips to Los Angeles. He took a few months but in the end got eight volunteers to open the first branch of the Sons of Anarchy club in the growing town of Long Beach.
Not long after its foundation, Chico dies at only 32 years old, being the first and youngest of the First 9 to die. Then the charter is in charge of its Vice President Nicky Torino.
The vision of Chico became a reality, as he founded the first branch of the original club in a growing city, in a corrupt state by nature. Long Beach Charter carries the inscription "Los Angeles" on its jacket, however the city is located in California (in the county of Los Angeles).
