Biography[]
Background[]
Leticia was born to Johnny "Coco" Cruz and an unknown woman while Cruz was incarcerated. Cruz's mother raised her as her own, ignoring his demands for Leticia to be put up for adoption. Letty is a fiery young woman who walks a very rocky road in life. Her short temper and violent tendencies can often be witnessed.
Season 1[]
"Bat/Zotz"[]
Leticia's grandmother, Celia Cruz, who has raised her to believe that she is her mother, takes her to the diner to talk to her "brother" Coco. He asks that she quit calling him her older brother, and it upsets her, thinking Coco is trying to give up on her. She runs outside leaving Coco and his mother to have words. She says that she wanted to raise the child so that she could replace Coco, who hadn't met her expectations, but he claims that she was only trying to collect a welfare check for the money, and that he would have rather his daughter had been adopted so that she didn't have to suffer the same fate he did.
Coco goes outside to check on Letty and they talk for a minute before the mom returns. During an argument, Celia reveals that Coco is her father, and not her older brother as she was raised to believe. Angered by the news, and for being lied to for so many years, she hitches a ride with a truck driver before Coco can stop her.
"Gato/Mis"[]
Coco brings Letty to the Mayans Motorcycle Club, Santo Padre clubhouse. Coco tasks Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes, a Prospect for the club with keeping an eye on her in case she tries to leave. Almost immediately after learning that Coco has headed out she tries to do exactly that but is stopped by EZ. Leticia opens the trunk of her car to show a dead trucker inside named Albert, Leticia explains that she tried to steal money from him and upon being found he attacked her and she ended up stabbing him with a screwdriver.
EZ and Letty arrive at the location where Albert's truck was. EZ climbs in to Albert's truck but two men approach him and accuse him of trying to steal it, a fight ensues, EZ knocks one of the men out while Letty stabs the other with another screwdriver. They flee and Angel Reyes, EZ's brother and another member of the club call EZ and he explains the situation; Angel suggests they go back after dark to dispose of Albert and deal with the truck. Angel says he will take Letty back to the garage.
After being reunited, Letty and Coco talk. He explains he has two other children with different mothers and he apologises to Letty for everything. They promise to not keep secrets from each other anymore and the pair leave.
That night, Coco and Letty later burn the truck belonging to the man Letty killed.
"Cucaracha/K'uruch"[]
Letty is introduced to a lot of other members of the Mayans by Coco. He announces to his club that Letty is his daughter. His brothers are surprised that Coco has another child as he has never mentioned it before, he explains that he is trying to not mess things up with her, Letty hugs him.
Coco and Letty go to see Celia and Celia is furious. She knows Letty took the car and Coco helped dispose of it and the body in the trunk. Coco promises to get Celia some more money and a new car. He leaves Letty some money and leaves. As soon as Coco is gone Celia fights with Letty and takes the money off her. Letty runs in to the bathroom crying and hits her head on the toilet bowl, making it look as if Celia has attacked her.
Letty then calls Chuckie to come and pick her up to return her to the clubhouse. When they arrive she explains to Coco and EZ that Celia caused her injuries. Coco asks EZ to take care of Letty before leaving.
"Rata/Ch'o"[]
EZ arrives at the garage to see Letty, she confesses that Celia didn't hurt her and she wants to tell Coco the truth. EZ agrees to go to Celia's house to see what has happened.
Letty later enlists Coco to bring her to Celia's apartment herself. There she finds EZ who tells her that Coco has already left but has said that she should stay at the clubhouse.
Season 2[]
"Tohil"[]
Coco awakes to a pleasant surprise from Letty and is immediately suspicious. He is angry when he finds a strange girl in the house, Letty introduces her as Gaby and explains that they need the club's help. Gaby's family illegally crossed the border and are now being held for ransom by another club, Vatos Malditos Motorcycle Club. Coco agrees to help.
Back at the clubhouse, Coco and Letty watch as Gaby hugs her family after the club agreed to assist. Letty sadly acknowledges that they never had something like that, Coco sarcastically replies it's because he killed their mother but there is still plenty of time for them to be a family.
Season 3[]
"Pap Struggles with the Death Angel"[]
Letty joins Coco on the sofa and enquires about where her iPad has gone. They begin to argue as the house is a mess and Coco isn't providing enough money for the family, causing Letty to have to drop out of school.
"What Comes of Handlin' Snakeskin"[]
Coco arrives home looking a sorry state and is greeted by Letty, Letty is furious that Coco disappeared for ages. He asks Letty to get some pills for him to ease his pain and once she returns he has already passed out. Coco later awakens and Letty tries to reason with him saying that he is becoming like Celia but he refuses to hear it telling Letty she is wrong. Letty asks what happened to her car and Coco tells her that someone trashed it overnight and says it was probably her fault. The continue to exchange verbal blows before Letty leaves after telling Coco that she hopes he dies.
"A Mixed-up and Splendid Rescue"[]
Letty walks in to the living room to find Coco unconscious with another woman, she sobs over his unconscious body, the woman awakens and quickly injects him with some narcan to bring him round. Letty jumps on the woman and begins to scream in her face blaming her for what is happening to Coco.
Coco apologises to Letty and says he wants to get clean with Hope, who is the mystery woman, but he can't do it on his own but Letty is still angry and leaves.
Hope later tries to apologise to Letty. Letty curses her out saying that Coco is all she has and she never knew about Letty because Coco is an addict, and people around him come second. Hope admits that she loves Coco and says she wants to get clean.
Later that night whilst Coco is sleeping, Hope goes to return to Meth Mountain after what Letty told her, she passes Letty on her way out and says nothing.
"The House of Death Floats By"[]
Coco awakens to see that Hope has disappeared. He goes to see Letty and Letty suggests that Coco goes to rehab and the club can help but Coco says they will kill him if they find out what he's been doing. He asks Letty where Hope is but her silence is all the answer he needs, he arms up and heads out to go and save Hope, knowing that she has returned to meth mountain. Letty begs Coco not to leave but he ignores her pleas and promises her he will come back.
"Chapter the Last, Nothing More to Write"[]
Having not seen Coco for days Letty is very worried, she goes to the club for help and speaks to Coco's close friend, Gilberto "Gilly" Lopez. Gilly tells her she can't come around anymore as Coco has been excommunicated from the club. Gilly learns that Coco has gone to meth mountain and Letty wants him to help but Gilly brushes her off saying that Coco is gone. Letty is furious and curses Gilly out for betraying his friend.
Season 4[]
"Hymn Among the Ruins"[]
Hope is woken up by Letty's music and goes to ask her to turn it down. Hope pleads with her saying that she closed at her work last night and she wants some sleep. Letty berates Hope and reminds her that this isn't her house.
Letty is dropped home by her boyfriend before exiting his car and cursing him out. Letty heads inside and cries on the sofa. Hope makes her way inside the house and tries to comfort Letty, telling her she deserves better. Letty thanks her and sarcastically remarks, "words of wisdom from a junkie piece of shit".
"When I Die, I Want Your Hands on My Eyes"[]
Letty is devastated to learn of Coco's death. Letty enters Coco's bedroom where Hope can be found sobbing, assuming she wants her out, Hope tells her that she will leave tomorrow. Letty tearfully tells Hope that she shouldn't leave and the two comfort each other.
"When the Breakdown Hit at Midnight"[]
The club attend the funeral for Coco along with other Mayans members. The club individually pay their respects. Letty goes to speak and curses the club, blaming them for the death of Coco and says she will never forgive them.
Letty eventually arrives after trying to find the missing Hope. She finds her sitting in a dingy alleyway with a bunch of punks about to shoot up. Letty is able to convince Hope to not return to her previous life after mentioning that Coco wouldn't want that. Hope gets in Letty's car and the pair leave.
Season 5[]
"I Hear the Train A-Comin"[]
Six months after the death of Coco, Letty and Hope are struggling to survive. They are shaking down local drug dealers and selling the stock to Louie, a local gangbanger who gives them a small commission. Hope is working on a mark but the man pressures Hope and tells her there is other ways to pay, backed against the door, Letty barges in and gives the man a nutshot before stealing his stash, the pair flee. Hope returns inside to free the man's caged bird to which Letty notes that she is "fucking weird".
The pair then return to Coco's house to see they are being evicted, as Coco never payed for the rent and Hope and Letty are a year behind on their rent. The landlord quickly runs off after serving the notice as Letty tries to attack him as Hope holds her back.
They go back to Louie and Letty demands that they need more money or the pair will be evicted, Louie asks Letty is she wants to get back in to porn, but Letty isn't very interested. Letty threatens Louie saying that she will expose him to the other deals for robbing them. Louie gives in and says he has a big, but dangerous job.
"Do You Hear the Rain"[]
Letty and Hope prepare to embark on their dangerous task set by Louie, to secure a big payday and save their house from repossession.
Letty waits outside, when she believes enough time has passed she barges in with a knife, a gun is quickly placed to her head as she reaches to grab Hope's hand.
A man emerges from the room opposite, and calls out Hope's name, Letty doesn't recognise him.
Without warning, Letty stabs one of the armed gangsters and makes a dash to the table where there is a duffel bag full of cash, the pair then flee, as bullets whizz past them they dart outside and in to Letty's car.
Later that night, the pair are counting the cash they made, over $17k. Hope is incredibly concerned however with Butterfly, the man from the drug house who used to be on Meth Mountain, where Hope used to live. Hope keeps insisting that they can't stay here anymore, now that he knows where they are, Isaac Packer, President of Sons of Anarchy, San Bernardino charter and former resident of Meth Mountain is sure to follow, the former and very dangerous leader of Meth Mountain. Letty is furious, telling Hope that she isn't leaving her home and isn't scared at all. Hope continues to insist and this makes Letty angrier, telling her that this home is all she has left of Coco and if Hope wants to leave she is welcome to. Hope disappears and reappears a few moments later with some ice cream, essentially stating that she isn't going to leave Letty behind.

"I Want Nothing but Death"[]
Later that night, Letty and Hope crash. A terrified Letty is awoken by a hand covering her mouth as she sees Isaac standing over her, he notes how much she looks like Coco, as Letty's eyes dart wildly across the room she sees Hope in a similar predicament to her, being restrained by another Son. Isaac insinuates he is going to take Hope from her just as Coco once did from him, and the only way she is getting her back is if she does something for him.

Letty sneaks around the Saints' compound, she is caught by Paloma who assures her that she knows the Saints are strange, but she'll get used to it. Letty tells her that she is just looking for somewhere to use the bathroom. As Paloma walks away, Letty sneaks in to a truck and frantically searches for the keys which she is able to find.
Letty is arguing with Isaac at the SAMDINO clubhouse gate. Hope yells at Isaac, saying that she held up her end of the bargain and he needs to let Hope go. Isaac refuses, on the basis that Letty is a liar and lied to the Saints about her true intentions, even after they showed her kindness. Isaac walks away as the gate is slammed on Letty, she continues to yell and pound on the gate door.
Letty waits long in to the night, until she sees Isaac and the Sons ride out, she sneaks in to the compound before attacking a couple of women who work the bar, stabbing two. She explores the clubhouse, before taking one hostage and barging in to the room with Hope inside, she comes face to face with Terry Drakos, a Son. A shot rings out, Letty is shocked to see that Terry has executed the woman, he tells the pair to flee, leading them through the clubhouse, he kills a further two women, making it looks like the clubhouse was attacked and Hope escaped in the chaos.
As Letty and Hope speed away from San Bernardino on the highway. Hope says that she believes Isaac will find them, Letty attempts to convince her otherwise as Hope begins to sob and starts to scream for Letty to pull the car over. Letty eventually does so and Hope immediately gets out. Letty tries to talk to Hope but she is mostly unresponsive. Hope finally speaks, she thanks Letty for giving her a home, being her best friend and confesses that the last few months have been the best of her life, and she refuses to allow Isaac to ruin it. Hope continues, with tears in her eyes stating that she knows Isaac will never stop seeking her and Letty will end up hurt. "I love you, and now I have to set you free." Hope chokes through her tears to Letty before walking backwards in to the traffic, she is struck by a semi truck and is instantly killed. Letty screams in horror at the site of her best friend taking her own life in such a gruesome manner.
