Ileana was a planner for City Hall on Mayans MC, a spinoff of the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. Played by American actress Malaya Rivera Drew. Ileana makes her debut in "Xaman-Ek" in season two and plays a recurring role throughout the same season.
Biography[]
Ileana works at City Hall in the town of Santo Padre, California. Ileana was close friends with Emily Galindo and her family many years ago when they were young. Ileana admires Emily's lavish life and is silently jealous of Emily's wealth and lifestyle; so much so, that she reluctantly allows herself to be bribed by her former friend to get an advantage in an agricultural park project the Galindo family is attempting to win.
Ileana is also close with Emily's mother, Diana Thomas; much more so than Emily herself is.
Season 2[]
"Xaman-Ek"[]
Emily meets with Ileana at City Hall to submit her proposal for the Santo Padre Agricultural Park project taking place in Santo Padre. The pair exchange pleasantries and dance around the awkward topic of Emily and her mother having a poor relationship. Ileana points Emily in the direction of Marlon Buksar, another clerk who will walk Emily through the process. Emily is annoyed and surprised to learn that there are six other bids currently in place.
"Camazotz"[]
Emily heads to city hall and waits outside for Ileana to finish for the day. Upon her emerging she offers her a ride home which Ileana appears reluctant to accept. Emily apologises for her bluntness the other day. The two share a sweet moment as Ileana confesses that she has always admired Emily and will always be there for her. They arrive at Ileana's hotel and Emily asks her driver to step out. Emily hands Ileana a cheque for $50,000 and admits that she knows that Ileana has been borrowing money from Diana, Emily's mother; Ileana frantically tries to explain that it's just a loan and she lost everything in the fires. Ileana begins to suspect that Emily has ulterior motives and asks what the real cost is. Emily all but confirms she wants information about the other bidders. Ileana becomes angry and Emily begins to cry and explains how she is trying to fit in with Miguel Galindo's world. She retracts her earlier offer and says she doesn't want anything for the money and wants to help Ileana to make herself feel better. Ileana gratefully accepts the money.
Emily receives a phone call from Ileana later that night. Ileana inquires that if she was to "need more help" could she provide information in exchange for it, Emily tries to act cool and effortlessly tell Ileana that it would be much appreciated.
The following day Ileana meets Emily and provides her with the figures to the other bids for the park project.
"Lahun Chan"[]
Emily returns to City Hall to submit the Galindo's new bid. Ileana, out of shame, points Emily over to Marlon again and explains he will handle the details, she briskly leaves.
"Muluc"[]
Ileana calls Emily and asks her to come in to City Hall. Ileana confesses that the Galindo's bid for the project isn't going to win, a last minute bid has overtaken them and neither of them know how it happened. Emily quickly theorises that someone has been passing information to them, Emily realises that Marlon is responsible and threatens Ileana in to giving her information. Emily says she will gather proof and then the new bid will be disqualified due to receiving insider information. Ileana is worried what Emily is going to have done to Marlon but she claims she will just "talk to him" before dropping another envelope full of cash on Ileana's table.
"Hunahpu"[]
After hearing of the death of Marlon, Ileana is ridden with guilt and scared for her own life. She believes that Emily is behind his murder after he took bribes to allow another company to win the Agra Park project. Ileana resigns from her post having gotten another job in San Diego working in housing authority, something she has no experience or desire to work in; she plans to leave Santo Padre for good. On her final day, as she is packing up her office, Emily arrives and questions what she is doing, Ileana coldly explains to Emily her plan and ignores her attempts at reconciling their relationship. She tells Emily to leave her family alone.
