Happy is heavily tattooed on his upper body, across his arms, torso and head, the majority of these are Labrava's real tattoos. Happy is known for having a smiley face tattooed on his torso for every kill he carries out; by the time of his death in 2023, Happy had a total of 16 of these faces, with one being cut off.

Happy's kutte was basic in terms of customisability. He wore an "Unholy Ones" flash at the top of his kutte.

In spite of his violent and sociopathic ways, Happy cares greatly for his dog, Opie, seen when he chose to reveal the truth of who ordered the death of Marisol Reyes, mother of Mayans Santo Padre charter members Angel and EZ, after Angel threatened to maim Opie after Happy's refusal to talk.

Biography[]

Background[]

Happy's bike

Happy's Bike

Happy is an enforcer for the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, and, along with Alexander 'Tig' Trager, is commonly used to carry out the club's murders. He is from Tacoma, Washington but patched into the club's charter in Charming, where he had a good relationship with the former President, Clarence 'Clay' Morrow and the later former President, Jackson 'Jax' Teller; after being a member of the Nomad charter. He took a murder-for-hire contract on Marisol and Felipe Reyes, and killed the former. After he was chased by Ezekiel Reyes, he assumed it was a member of a Cartel's clean-up crew and no longer felt safe as a Nomad, so he patched into SAMCRO for personal safety. He is originally from California himself, as he mentions that his mother is from Bakersfield. His real name is Happy Lowman as stated in Lincoln Potter's debriefing room. This name coincides with the fact that he has a happy face tattooed onto him every time he kills someone.

Sons of Anarchy Issue #18[]

In July 1987, Happy sold drugs to support himself and his mother, who had M.S. One night, he was selling crack cocaine on another dealer's block. The dealer; named Will, confronted a young Happy and punched him in the face. Happy pulled a revolver on the dealer, but the gun was empty. Will and his crew jumped Happy, and beat him to a bloody pulp. He was sent to the hospital, Happy is later arrested for drug and gun charges, and sent to prison. During his time locked up, he is introduced to Tig. The Will continued to harass him and Ms. Lowman. Happy finally snapped and killed him and his accomplice with an axe. In Tacoma, Happy meets with Tig once again and gets two matching smiley face tattoos; representing his first two murders he committed. ("Issue 18")

Sons of Anarchy[]

Season 1[]

"Pilot"[]

Happy Lowman, member of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Tacoma charter is seated around the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original table. Happy isn't a member of the charter, but is close with his brothers at SAMCRO, and is assisting them with a plan involving retrieving their stolen guns from the Mayans Motorcycle Club, and going over recent issues with the Nordics, a white supremacist group cooking drugs and selling them in Charming, the hometown of SAMCRO.

"Patch Over"[]

Happy is summoned by SAMCRO to come to Nevada and assist in the Devil's Tribe Motorcycle Club patching over to become a new Sons charter.

Back inside the Tribe's clubhouse, the rest of SAMCRO have arrived. Clay gives a speech inducting the Tribe in as the Sons of Anarchy, Indian Hills charter. Clay says that every man must decide if they want to patch over or not, the Tribe must talk amongst themselves.

A few Tribe members storm out of the clubhouse, throwing their kuttes on the floor. The Sons head back inside to see that Jury has convinced the majority of his club to patch over.

The following morning Clay receives a call from Jax, telling him that Mayans are on their way to Indian Hills, the club arm up and prepare to fight.

The club are able to hold off the Mayans without any real casualties.

"Hell Followed"[]

At the table, Clay addresses SAMCRO and the other charters who have come down. He states that what happened the previous night, which was a hit on the lives of Darby and himself, can never happen again, no more bodies can drop in Charming. Tig speaks up and says that SAMCRO did not attempt to kill the Nords, it was Alvarez who tried to kill Clay and Darby. However, if they retaliate, war is certain. Clay admits that he sat down with Marcus Alvarez, Presidente of the Mayans Oakland charter causing shock to ripple across the table. Clay says that he made a deal with Alvarez, the Sons will sell guns to the Mayans and all beefs will be ended, in Charming and out of state, no Sons will have issues with Mayans anymore. Juan Carlos "Juice" Ortiz enquires about the Sons deal with the Niners and selling guns to them, but Jax insists they have no real loyalty to the Niners and they also buy guns from other sources. Robert "Bobby Elvis" Munson admits he has concern that a deal with the Mayans could trigger something else with the Niners. Tig says that the Mayans still tried to kill him but Clay says that debt will be settled too, by another charter, he asks if Happy will do the deed and he of course agrees. The club vote on the deal and the majority are on board.

Happy later carries out a hit on Esai Alvarez, the son of Marcus Alvarez with his assistance. Happy poses as a churro vendor and Alvarez hugs Esai deeply as Happy plunges an ice pick in to the back of Esai's head, killing him instantly, Alvarez gently places Esai's body on the ground before kissing his head and passing Happy an envelope with cash in.

Happy later receives another smiley face tattoo for netting himself another kill.

"Better Half"[]

At the SAMCRO clubhouse, Happy has been called to assist with getting two club associates out of the country. They will use one of Wayne Unser's trucks with electronics on board to make it look legit. Happy will drive the truck. Happy tells Clay that his mother is unwell and he is most likely going to leave the Tacoma charter and go Nomad so that he can spend more time with her. Clay tells Happy there is always a seat at the SAMCRO table if he wants it.

"The Revelator"[]

Happy is called in by SAMCRO to assist in taking out a federal witness, he partners up with Filip "Chibs" Telford and Tig, they head to the safehouse, they immobilise the cops outside and break in, the trio are shocked to find a young girl inside, she is the witness. Happy says that he will kill the girl but Tig steps up, saying he must do it, he escorts the terrified girl when suddenly Jax, VP of SAMCRO arrives and tells Tig to put the gun down. Tig refuses, raising his gun to the girl's head and Jax counters by doing the same to Tig, saying he will kill him. Jax tells Happy and Chibs to get out, angering the pair, saying this wasn't part of the plan. They leave.

The following day, the club ride with Donna Winston's funeral procession to the graveyard. Many associates, friends and family are also present. Jax arrives late, looking worse for wear, Tara Knowles stands and places his kutte on him, before kissing him passionately. Jax briefly pays his respects to Donna before taking off.

Season 2[]

"Albification"[]

Happy is at the SAMCRO clubhouse for Bobby's welcome home party. A car rolls in to the lot and a group of men emerge, the Sons approach them with Clay telling them that the garage is closed. The lead man, Ethan Zobelle explains that he isn't there for repairs, he is there to give some advice to the Sons to stop selling guns to the Mayans and the Niners. The Sons laugh at him, with Clay giving the classic response that they are just motorcycle enthusiasts. Tig whispers to Clay that one of the men is a Nord and Zobelle confirms this, explaining that they are business parters with Darby. Clay looks Zobelle up and down, realising that they are white supremacists. Tig draws his gun and Zobelle addresses him by name, saying that he isn't going to shoot him with all these witnesses. He tells Clay that his cigar shop will be opening in a few weeks and leaves him with a gift of a cigar box until then, stating that he knows they are his favourite.

"Eureka"[]

Happy has joined SAMCRO as they prepare to go on their blood drive charity ride, which is really an excuse to run guns for the IRA. As the club ride out again, Bobby Elvis has trouble with his vintage bike and accidentally crashes in to Tig, sending him flying off the road and down an embankment, his leg is badly injured. An ambulance is called for Tig who is too injured to ride and he is transported to a local hospital. Clay is furious with Bobby, telling him that he has to wipe Tig's ass if necessary. Jax says they will call Piney to bring the flatbed to transport Tig's bike home. Inside the hospital, a nurse explains to Bobby that Tig's insurance won't cover an out of town visit and he needs to be transferred. The club are furious as Tig and Bobby begin dishing out abuse at the hospital workers.

As Happy, Half-Sack and Bobby wheel Tig out of the hospital to bring him to another one, they are jumped by bounty hunters, the club piece together that the nurses must have called the police on Tig, who supposedly has a warrant out for his arrest. Tig is dragged in to the back of a van and they race off.

Happy, Kip "Half-Sack" Epps, Piermont "Piney" Winston and Bobby rejoin the rest of the club. Half-Sack has tailed the bounty hunters and he knows where they are keeping Tig. He explains they beat him up on the side of the road and they took him to a local motel, most likely to patch him up, otherwise they cannot turn him in. An arguement breaks out between Jax and Clay. Clay wants Tacoma to come down and grab the guns before they get Tig, Jax says they should go right now as they don't know how long they are going to keep Tig in the motel for. Jax says Clay must call a vote and Clay shoves him, the others jump in to separate them as Bobby steps between them, explaining this is all his fault and everyone needs to calm down, then they will figure out what to do.

Jax storms off and finds Piney pulling away in the flatbed, passing him a shotgun he tells him to jump on and they can save Tig right now, Jax orders Chibs, Happy and Half-Sack to join him and they agree, jumping on the back of the flatbed as Bobby, Opie and Clay stare on.

As they arrive at the motel, Piney chooses the plan for himself, he rams the back of the truck through the wall of the motel room where Tig is being held, they hold the bounty hunters at gunpoint as Tig dives on to the flatbed, they taunt the bounty hunters and Piney speeds away.

"Falx Cerebri"[]

Happy is summoned to the SAMCRO table in the wake of a car bomb being planted at the garage. Chibs was caught in the explosion and badly injured. The club are discussing what they are going to do about Zobelle and the League. Clay says that Unser is getting them Zobelle's home address. Clay demands retaliation after Zobelle tried to have 2 SAMCRO members killed in 24 hours. Nobody objects this time.

The following morning, Edmond Hayes, the Sons IRA contact has arrived, he is extremely concerned with the explosion, saying it is going to bring the feds back around. Clay assures Edmond to return to Cameron Hayes and tell him there will be no problem, it will be resolved. Unser approaches and gives them the home addresses of Zobelle and Weston, Juice is ordered to stay behind and clean the crime scene best he can, Jax goes to see Chibs in hospital. Opie warns Clay that Jax definitely isn't on board with retaliation and he is sure he is working something else.

SAMCRO make their way to AJ Weston's house, the find Jax and Deputy Chief David Hale already there, gunshots ring out and they return fire before entering, they find Weston's children inside, having fired at Jax. They are able to disarm them and it is clear that Jax is doing his own thing. Tig receives a call from Unser, telling them that they were unable to stop the forensic team.

Furious, they head to Zobelle's cigar shop, they watch on as Clay trashes the inside of it.

At the clubhouse, Juice was able to hack Weston's stolen laptop and they believe they know where he is, at a Christian centre holding a rally, the club arm up and head out.

They arrive at the church and they plan to just grab Zobelle, Jax admits that he has been working with Hale all day, there will be a lot of Aryans inside and it might not be so simple, the sheriffs are also on their way to pick up Zobelle. Clay says they better move quickly then and the club arm up. They disarm the security outside and breach the church, but are shocked to see it is just a normal party, there are no Aryans besides Zobelle and Weston present. A shot rings out and everyone begins scrambling, SAMCRO flee the church as Opie heads after Zobelle by himself. The cops are already outside and SAMCRO are arrested.

"Gilead"[]

The Sons settle in for their stint in jail. They are in significant danger as the AB will not be protecting them as Zobelle has put out word, they will need to look for other unlikely alliances. Tensions between Clay and Jax run at an all time high as Clay scrambles to secure the Sons protection.

The Sons regroup, Clay has negotiated an alliance with Russel Divine and the Black Guerrilla Family if they help take care of 2 snitches from his gang. One is on the outisde, a dealer named Venus Bell, Opie will be handling it and Dion, the other is currently in protective custody.

Jax has arranged a plan with Dion, Juice will meet him in the infirmary for 'sex'. The Sons tell Juice the plan, who is less than interested but eventually agrees. Tig punches him in the back, cracking his ribs in order to get him sent to the infirmary.

Juice returns to the Sons with good news, Dion has been taken care of, and he made it out of the infiramry unviolated; as he strolls towards the Sons he is approached by AB members who shiv him, stabbing him in the back, Jax pulls the shiv from Juice as he is quickly picked up by the guards and dragged back to the infirmary.

The Sons later learn that Juice will live, but Opie's setup went bad, Victor 'Vic' Trammel, the SAMCRO cop was shot and he may not make it. A guard arrives to take Clay away, he doesn't explain why.

Clay eventually returns and Jax is called up. Jax greets Clay and attempts to embrace him, this earns him a slug around the face from Clay, a bloody fight ensues between the pair as the other prisoners watch on before they are separated.

The Sons later learn they have been bailed, with the money being fronted by Elliott Oswald, they return to the clubhouse late at night, all of them head inside except for Jax, who leaves alone.

"Potlatch"[]

Half-Sack has returned to the clubhouse after his neutical surgery, Tig, Bobby and Happy examine it, with the trio noting that it seems to be larger than it's supposed to be. Opie arrives, and the group sit down to discuss the beef with Clay and Jax. Bobby says that whatever is going on between them is worse than Zobelle and the ATF, that alone can destroy them. Opie says he can talk to Jax and try to figure it out, whilst Tig will speak to Clay. After they know the truth, they can take it to the table to try and resolve. Jax then arrives, he says that the Chinese have called and want a sit down, he is going to Cara Cara.

The club sit down for a meeting with Henry Lin, leader of the Lin Triad. Lin explains that their gun distributor is currently unavailble and they need hardware, he specified AK's, noting that he will pay the club double what he normally would. He offers a gift as a show of good faith and Charles "Chuckie" Marstein, (missing all but his two index fingers) is dragged in. Chuckie was a previous SAMCRO ally who deceived the club and as a result, Clay gave him to the Lin Triad who he was trying to screw over, expecting him to be killed. Clay initially refuses the offer of Chuckie, telling Lin he will let him know about the guns. Chuckie pleads with Clay, saying they will just kill him if SAMCRO doesn't take him in. Tig tells Lin that they will take him, he can do the books at Cara Cara to free up Bobby.

The club exit with Chuckie in tow, Tig questions if they are really going to get the IRA guns with June Stahl and the ATF back in town. A constant thorn in SAMCRO's side. Seeing as Clay learned from Stahl inside of jail that the IRA are also possibly selling to the League of American Nationalists, a white supremacist organisation disguised as a legitimate business entity. Clay says they will set up a meet with Edmond and feel him out, Stahl could be lying, after all. Opie says he is going to Cara Cara and is ordered to take Chuckie with him to put him to work. Clay says he wants the guys to stay available.

Clay, Happy, Tig and Half-Sack head to Edmond's house and question him on where their AK's are, Edmond says he sold them and they will get another shipment soon. Half-Sack and Tig get in Edmond's face, but he stands his ground, saying he doesn't appreciate SAMCRO being suspicious of his intentions. Clay says everything is fine, they just had an emergency order they wanted to fulfil. The club exit, unanimously agreeing that the guns are definitely in Edmond's house, waiting to be sold to Zobelle. Half-Sack is ordered to watch Edmond's house and see if any Aryans show up.

Clay, Tig, Half-Sack and Happy link up near the AB members, they did in fact arrive at Edmond's house to collect the guns. They were unable to contact everybody else so it is just the four of them to try and retrieve the guns. Clay is furious, demanding Tig keep calling them.

Unable to rouse anyone else, they eventually roll up on Weston, they jump him and retrieve the guns, Weston laughs at them, noting how bad their timing is. A truck full of AB members rolls up and starts laying down fire, the Sons dive for cover, but Clay wants the guns. He steps out in to the line of fire and Half-Sack jump to his aid, covering him before dragging him away, knowing he cannot salvage anything. They pile back in to the flatbed and flee. Clay stares down Tig as they race away, shocked that he didn't try to assist him.

They return to Gemma's house for dinner in time to see Lyla storming out. She is furious over the disrespect she receives from the other women of SAMCRO. Back inside another brawl nearly erupts when half the club lost their gun shipment as Bobby, Opie and Jax were not around to help. Hale arrives to deliver the harrowing news that Luann has been found dead. Clay immediately knows Jax is behind the payback for what happened and the night ends in disaster as the club is in disarray, tensions running higher than ever.

"Fa Guan"[]

At TM, Jax is furious to learn from Bobby that Clay wants to shut Cara Cara down. He storms in to Church and tells Clay that porn is a good business. Clay says they have a new gun source so they no longer need it, and adds on that autorepair is also a legitimate business, that doesn't make his skin crawl. Jax argues that the gun business has cost lives and money, they have lost far more than they have earned. Clay tells Jax that he had Luann killed and tied the club to prostituion. Jax smirks, asking Clay if he is really going to lay the death of a SAMCRO old lady on him. Clay tells Jax that he will make good on that promise he made him, Jax takes out his gun and cocks it before handing it to Clay and turning his back, daring him to shoot him. Clay hesitates before dropping the gun. Jax tells Clay that he needs a majority vote to shut down Cara Cara, they will vote tomorrow.

Clay sees Happy patrolling the clubhouse, he asks him why he isn't at the judge's house, and Happy says that Jax is handling it. A furious Clay tells Happy to call Nomads. Clay, Happy, Half-Sack and the Nomads assault Darby's various businesses that Clay has found out about.

The following morning, Happy, Jax, Half-Sack and Bobby arrive at the remanants of Cara Cara, it was burned down the previous night. Jax is devastated and furious, telling the group that Clay must be responsible. Jax tells Happy to reach out to Rane Quinn for him, the President of the Sons Nomad charter, he wants a transfer.

"Balm"[]

The club head to St. Thomas, Chibs is finally being released after weeks of recovering from his explosive assassination attempt. As they ride home, the van carrying Chibs and Half-Sack suddenly hangs a left, Jax gives chase, telling the rest to return to the clubhouse.

The trio return to the clubhouse, everyone else is glad to see Chibs safe and sound. Chibs is immediately confrontational to Clay, demanding to know why he wasn't informed of the recent developments surrounding the IRA, the League and Jax going Nomad. Clay tells him that they wanted him to heal, to which Chibs replies that he is all better. Tig says they can discuss it all at the table later.

"The Culling"[]

With a war with the League fast approaching, SAMCRO go in to lockdown, families and friends pile in to the clubhouse to keep everyone safe whilst the Sons handle business. Clay speaks to the masses, telling them the club is embarking on a mission that could put members in danger, everyone is safe under SAMCRO's roof. SAMTAC have also come down to provide backup.

In Church, the club discuss their plan to deal with the ATF heat and Stahl breathing down their necks. Chibs is still concerned that Jimmy is going to hurt his family after Stahl exposes him as a rat, Jax tries to reassure him. Unser steps forward and gives the club some images of Zobelle meeting with the IRA, with these images they should be able to convince Jimmy that the betrayal is from Edmond and Cameron, not from SAMCRO.

Using Chuckie as a distraction, the Sons are able to lead the ATF away from Edmond's stash house, they meet Jimmy there and pick up their guns.

The Sons ride out to meet the League for their fight night, organised earlier by Jax and Weston. As expected, Weston has turned up with numerous men and weapons. Weston scoffs at them telling them "Fair is for losers, I'd rather win". Niners and Triad members armed to the teeth emerge from the trees, outnumbering the Aryans at least 4 to 1. Weston submits, telling his guys to drop their weapons. Jax suggests they stick to the plan and a mass brawl breaks out between the 20 men, every member of the Sons wins their 1 on 1 as sirens begin blaring. Hale arrives on the scene, furious at the Sons and the AB for getting in to it inside Charming. Weston is then arrested for arson by Hale. Clay tells Tig to call Unser and get him to move on the cigar shop.

SAMCRO soon arrive at the cigar shop and Clay hits Polly Zobelle, Zobelle's daughter. Unser jumps to his feet but Clay assures Unser that Polly is just as guilty as the rest of them as he takes his gun to her. Zobelle, hearing the commotion runs to the front of the store and is quickly restrained by the Sons. Clay puts his gun to Zobelle when suddenly Hale arrives with backup. Zobelle immediately tells Hale that the Sons are threatening his life. Unser pulls rank, telling Hale that he is still the Chief and he has the situation under control, he and the other deputies need to leave. The deputies comply, as Hale prepares to leave, Zobelle shouts that he and Polly are in posession of narcotics, one of the deputies pulls out a brick of heroin and Hale arrests them both. Jax tells Zobelle that they are going to kill him as he is taken away.

"Na Trioblóidí"[]

The Sons anxiously wait outside Charming PD, wanting to know the fate of both Zobelle and Weston. Unser exits and tells them that Stahl is in a meeting with the FBI and Zobelle, he has no more news.

Unser later approahes the Sons again, he tells them that both Zobelle and Weston are walking out today. Chuckie's eye witness testimony will not hold up as he is a convicted felon and Zobelle has been working with the FBI all along as an informant, giving them dirt on individuals that join L.O.A.N, allowing him to continue his illegal deeds with protection from above. The Sons prepare to tail Zobelle as he leaves, when suddenly Mayans arrive, they escort Zobelle away, looking to protect their business partner.

A stalemate is happening on main street in Charming. The Mayans are posted up outside Impeccable Smokes with Zobelle inside and SAMCRO wait on the outside. Jax speaks to the rest of the crew and Unser tells them that Weston has now been released, he is stopping off to see his kids and then he is getting out of town. Jax, Chibs and Opie head out to deal with him.

Alvarez approaches Clay in main street after the PD pat him down. Alvarez tells Clay to get the Sons to go home, Clay of course refuses, Alvarez says he has only 1 chance before he calls in backup and main street turns in to a blood bath.

Juice is ordered to stay with the other charters and guard main street until Zobelle and the Mayans exit, then call Clay. The rest of the club leave.

Back at the clubhouse, Jax tells the rest of SAMCRO that Weston is dead, the Sons make a toast, knowing only half the battle is won.

Soon, Juice calls Clay, telling him that Alvarez and Zobelle are on the move, SAMCRO arm up, ready to face the remanants of the League and the Mayans.

Soon, Juice calls Clay, telling him that Alvarez and Zobelle are on the move, SAMCRO arm up, ready to face the remanants of the League and the Mayans. They chase the Mayans and Zobelle on to the highway, using one of Unser's trucks, Happy, Piney and other Sons are able to get the jump on the Mayans, killing a few of them and sending Alvarez packing as Clay warns him this is his only chance to flee, Alvarez gathers his crew and races off, leaving Zobelle to flee in the car.

The club try to keep Jax hopeful as it means that Cameron is still in the states and they can get to him. The Sons then head to a marina to scout out a boat that could belong to Cameron, they find nothing of value and begin to look for evidence. Two men arrive and appear shifty, the Sons give chase and catch up to them and their large crew, guns are quickly drawn but Jax is able to diffuse the situation, explaining they just wanted some information. One of the men explains that Cameron traded some AK's and the boat for quick cash, Cameron didn't have a baby with him, however.

Overwhelmed with emotion and rage, Jax attacks the shooter, bursting through the cops and slamming the man's face against the road.

While in custody on the side of the road it's revealed Happy reused condoms. He defends himself saving he's not cheap just "mindful of excessive spending" which can be looked more upon when in season three he told Clay his mothers medication was very costly, giving him a bit of money troubles, another reason he's willing to do runs and hits. Later in the same episode he along with Juice, Bobby and Chibs leave Opie and Lyla Winston's  wedding early to get their guns from the Russians and kill them. This being Juice's first kill for the club (that we know of, or seen on screen). He and Herman Kozik are only mentioned in the next episode. In episode 3 of Season 4 Happy votes no on becoming involved with the Cartel, saying "I'm sorry, but I'm a No."

In Episode 3, it is revealed that he is a neat freak. In episode 6 he helping trying to find out who stole one of the kilos of cocaine that SAMCRO has recently muled for the Cartel. Though Juice is actually the one who stole the cocaine, Juice lies and blames Miles after killing him. Happy shoots Miles, who is already dead, repeatedly in the chest and calls him a lying bitch. Later Happy supervise while the two prospects, who was originally blamed for stealing the cocaine, bury Miles. In episode 11 he along with Jax, Clay, Chibs, Juice, Kozik, and the Galindo Cartel take on the Cartel's rival. He later in the episode thirteen he is helping rescue Tig after he goes rogue and tries to kill Leroy. At the end of the episode fourteen he shows at at meeting were everyone except Opie is present. When he sees Jax sitting at the head of the table, he appears to be happy with Jax becoming the new President.

Season 5[]

Happy is seen with the rest of the Club in the season premiere when their shipment of cocaine is attacked by Niners, vengeful over the death of Laroy's girlfriend Veronica Pope. He is unintimidated by Roosevelt's threats to control their problems from hurting Charming or he will call in Gang Task Force. When Opie is killed by black prisoners while inside on orders of Veronica's father Damon Pope, Happy is present at his wake. He is later seen again in "Andare Pescare" helping Jax, Tig, Chibs, and Bobby track the man who beat Opie to death, it's revealed to be the cousin of Grim Bastard President T.O. Cross. When Tig suggests tracking down the man themselves and bashing his head in, Happy states "Second that". In "To Thine Own Self" Happy is present during the dispute with Nero's old gang and goes to meeting with them with Jax, Chibs, and Tig. When they get into a high-speed chase/shootout, Happy's head is grazed by a bullet though he is shown to not be seriously injured but he gets a thrill out of it including getting shot.

Season 6[]

Happy has become the new sergeant-at-arms after Bobby's resignation of Vice President and Chibs' promotion. Happy is taken by the Chinese, to be held captive until they receive the second-in-command for the IRA. He later kills the Chinese. He receives another smiley tattoo for killing a rat for Caccuza.

Season 7[]

At the ending in Papa's Goods he takes a bullet in the wrist or his hand after that Chibs couldn't shoot Jax as Jax demanded to face mayhem. Just moments before Jax rides off to fulfil his father's fate. He says: "I love you all" and hugs everyone goodbye, but when it's Happy's turn to say farewell to his former President he starts to cry when he hugs Jax and after that Jax kisses happy on the forehead.

Mayans MC[]

Season 1[]

"Cuervo/Tz'ikb'uul"[]

Happy attends a party being hosted by the Mayans. Hallorann, a prospect being sponsored by Happy, asks Ezekiel Reyes for a better beer and EZ is stunned when he sees Happy as flashbacks reveal that Happy was the man responsible for the death of Marisol Reyes eight years ago. EZ caught a glimpse of his face while pursuing him after EZ accidentally shot a police officer.

Season 2[]

"Xbalanque"[]

Happy is dealing guns to the Santo Padre charter alongside a new prospect. He talks with Chuck and claims SAMCRO misses him and hints his eventual return depends on Chibs. When Chuck asks him why SAMCRO is still dealing with guns despite being against Jax's wishes, he states that transition has been harder as there is a lot at stake at the present. When Felipe Reyes appears to ask Chuck for EZ to contact him, Happy seemingly recognizing him from his previous hit job asks Chuck who the man is, whom Chuck reveals is EZ and Angel's father. Learning he is the father of two Mayans he leaves quietly.

"Lahun Chan"[]

The Reyes Brothers assault Happy's house and tie him up to a chair. Although initially defiant, the brothers reveal who they are and they seek to know who ordered the hit on their mother. He is initially reluctant and is tortured by the brothers as they are unable to find any information (they also peel off skin from one of his smileys, to symbolize their mother). When his pitbull's barking annoys Angel he threatens to harm it, only for Happy to declare it is just hungry.

Through a mix of threats of hurting the dog and sympathetic pleas from the brothers to learn the truth, Happy eventually relents and tells them what he knows. He discloses that the hit order was subcontracted to him via SAMDINO's President Les Packer through a contact in Mexico which he believed to be the cartel, and that he was tasked to kill both the Reyes parents. He further elaborates that Marisol Reyes was not surprised to see him, being fully aware she was going to be killed.

He continues to say that he fled upon hearing cars closing in the shop, and that during the night in which EZ followed Happy, he thought the former was a clean-up hitman sent by the cartel to kill him for his failure to execute both parents. As a result he patched in to SAMCRO, frightened. Believing he was at risk as a Nomad.

When his prospects visits him worried as he had not picked on his phone calls, Happy lies saying he had an accident and the Reyes brothers helped him. He sends the prospect to clear his dog's crap and then vows to the brothers to dig up information from Packer on the contact, afterwards they'll be even. The brothers then leave.

Season 3[]

Happy is sent by Chibs to run the SAMDINO charter while their President, Les Packer is going through chemotherapy.

Season 4[]

"Hymn Among the Ruins"[]

Happy is mentioned by SAMDINO members as being sent back to SAMCRO on the orders of Chibs after he got in to some trouble with the law.

Season 5[]

"My Eyes Filled and Then Closed on the Last of Childhood Tears"[]

"Yeah. Do it, Angel. Stop being a little bitch. Do your worst."
―Happy daring Angel Reyes moments before being shot to death by EZ and Angel

Happy is laying low out in Twentynine Palms out in the desert in Santo Padre territory. EZ and Angel break into Happy's shack to find Happy and a woman lying in bed. The woman quickly jumps out of the bed, gasping and panicking as Happy is taken by surprise at the break in by EZ and Angel. EZ, pointing a gun at Happy tells him, "Don't fucking move". Happy tells the woman to shut up as she continues to scream, before turning his attention to the Reyes brothers. Knowing his wrongs have finally caught up to him after all these years; Happy smokes one last joint as he asks the Reyes brothers to let the woman go as she is innocent, to which EZ points his gun towards the woman as he replies, "What about my mother? She was innocent." EZ then tells the woman to leave without her cell phone and if she turns around, he will kill her. The woman leaves with Happy's dogs as she follows the orders EZ has given. Happy then asks the Reyes brothers about how they found him, to which EZ tells Happy he has known about his location for weeks and tells him "This is our desert". Happy tries to explain that the job on Marisol was business and that no one knew she was the mother of two Mayans. EZ tells Happy this visit is personal. As EZ asks Happy about what Marisol said before she was killed, Happy begins to mock someone getting shot in the neck, explaining she didn't have time to say anything. Happy then looks over to Angel who is still spooked from EZ, asking why he is so quiet? EZ tells Happy it's been 12 years today since the death as EZ looks over to Angel, telling him "This is my gift to you." Angel is still hesitant as Happy dares Angel to murder him telling him "Stop being a little bitch". Happy then flicks his joint as he quickly reaches over for his gun, as EZ shoots Happy in the chest three times. Happy wheezes as EZ looks back to Angel telling him, "Shoot him, Angel." Angel takes the gun and walks over to a wounded Happy and shoots him in the head.
