Biography[]

Kip Epps, (also called Eddie, by Gemma) a native of Charming, California, served in the United States Army during the Iraq War. He lost a testicle whilst serving in Iraq, prompting the nickname "Half-Sack". This injury presumably lead to him being medically discharged from the military. A surprisingly formidable fighter, he was also the Junior Lightweight Champion of the Army-Navy boxing competition. After leaving the military, he returned to Charming and began prospecting for the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club and worked as a mechanic at the Teller-Morrow auto shop. He was also a vegetarian. Filip "Chibs" Telford was his sponsor. Half-Sack was regarded as a fearless individual, even by then SAMCRO President, Clarence "Clay" Morrow, noting "Half a sack, shitload of balls". There is nothing Half-Sack wouldn't do for the club; tragically his dedication to the club would cost him his life.

Being a SAMCRO prospect often resulted in him being hazed and given undesirable tasks, although the other members generally kept a good-natured attitude towards Half-Sack when giving him these difficult tasks. Despite being a prospect, the lovable Half-Sack was well respected by his brothers and probably got away with more than the average prospect would've. Members of SAMCRO often mentioned that Half-Sack was ready for the patch, even before his prospect period was up. Upon his demise in 2008 at the hands of Cameron Hayes, honourably defending Tara Knowles and Abel Teller, Half-Sack was posthumously awarded his colors and buried as a full patch member of SAMCRO.

Season 1[]

"Pilot"[]

Half-Sack, a Prospective member of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original is attempting to remove a deer from the windshield of a car, he is overseen by his sponsor, Chibs. Jackson "Jax" Teller, Vice President comes over and instructs Half-Sack to use a chainsaw to get the deer out.

In Tahoe, Robert "Bobby Elvis" Munson is supposed to be doing his Elvis act for the weekend, making good money. He is angry to learn that due to a double booking, another Elvis impersonator is doing the act instead. Bobby and Half-Sack hatch a plan to make sure Bobby does the show. Half-Sack attacks the impersonator, leaving Bobby the only one who can do the show.

"Seeds"[]

Jax, Chibs, Juan Carlos "Juice" Ortiz and Half-Sack head to Skeeter's crematorium. The club are looking to stage a crime scene to get some heat off their back after one of their warehouses was destroyed by the Mayans Motorcycle Club and some incriminating evidence has been left inside. The club explain that they need two bodies from Skeeter but he tells them he isn't interested in a deal right now. He says he has quit gambling and doesn't want SAMCRO's money. He admits that there is something they can do for him, however. He wants them to set him up with Emily Duncan, a crow eater and Jax says to consider it done.

Half-Sack is later tasked with digging up one of the dead bodies.

Jax, Chibs and Juice head back to the cemetery, they find that Half-Sack has finished digging up the dead body, unfortunately, he's quite a big guy. Nevertheless they load the bodies in to two cars and head to Lodi.

Things turn sour when Jax and Chibs are pulled over after a cop notices some damage to their car. Juice and Half-Sack are behind and Juice thinks quickly and rear ends the cop car, the two then bailing and running from the two cops as they give chase. This gives Jax and Chibs ample time to burst the tyres on the cop car and steal their radio. They then head back to their car and pull a quick u-turn, driving back down the highway and picking up Juice and Half-Sack as they leave the cops in the dust.

The four then finish setting their murder scene, with Jax adding some finishing touches, making it look like a Nord and a Mayan murder.

As they had back to Charming, they spot a hot rod at a gas station, Jax recognises it as the same guy who cut them off earlier, subsequently damaging their vehicle and getting them pulled over by the cops. They head inside the gas station and Jax beats the guy down, who then pulls a gun and starts firing. Jax wrestles with the driver before the gas station employee steps in, killing the driver with an axe.

"Fun Town"[]

Clay summons Half-Sack to take part in a business meeting, he has been impressing the club and know he wants to know more about club business.

Clay calls him over as their shipment arrives. Disassembled guns inside of oil barrels. Michael McKeavey, the driver of the truck and True IRA member is frustrated to hear that the Sons won't be placing another order with the IRA for a few months whilst they recover from the warehouse fire. McKeavey says they have no choice but to look for another buyer.

The club agree to front McKeavey his money to keep their business arrangements, Chibs is ordered by Clay to go with McKeavey whilst he makes a trip up north, Clay wants to know who he is meeting.

Elliott Oswald, a local businessman drives in to the lot, demanding to speak with Clay.

Juice and Half-Sack head out on some TM business when he receives a call saying he needs to go back to TM as the police want to question everyone at the carnival last night after Oswald's daughter was raped. He tells Half-Sack that Clay wants him to follow Deputy Chief David Hale around, as he is also looking for the rapist.

Half-Sack tails Hale back to the carnival to speak to some more workers, Chibs and Jax soon arrive to interrogate the workers as Half-Sack continues trailing Hale.

Jax returns to the clubhouse with the identity of the rapist, the club return to the carnival and beat up the carnival workers, finally finding the rapist. They escort him to the woods and hold him until Oswald arrives. Oswald arrives with a blade and demands they remove the rapist's trousers. As Clay oversees, he reminds Oswald they had a deal, he must deliver the justice himself. Oswald drops the blade, unable to do it, he quickly flees the scene.

Clay gloves up and does the job himself, castrating the rapist. He passes Jax the blade as they realise it was all about blackmail, they have Oswald's prints on a murder weapon and now they can use it as leverage when they want to do business with him in the future.

"Patch Over"[]

The club are concerned to learn the ATF is in Charming. Clay states that they don't even know the reason an agent is there, none of SAMCRO have had any legal trouble in over five years. Jax theorises that Hale is responsible as he knew the warehouse was theirs and wasn't able to follow through on it. The club realise they need to get their guns off the property. Jax suggests calling in a favor with 'Jury' White, President of the Devil's Tribe Motorcycle Club, an allied MC out in Nevada. The club agree Jax and Bobby will go by themselves.

Half-Sack tells Tig that Gemma gives him a "MILF chubby". Half-Sack isn't aware that Clay is standing right behind him, he says nothing as Half-Sack stammers to change the subject as Clay walks away.

Clay speaks to Half-Sack, Tig and Juice, he states that Devil's Tribe will be patching over to join the Sons. He says the whole club is going up there with their gun supply.

Back inside the Tribe's clubhouse, the rest of SAMCRO have arrived. Clay gives a speech inducting the Tribe in as the Sons of Anarchy, Indian Hills charter. Clay says that every man must decide if they want to patch over or not, the Tribe must talk amongst themselves.

A few Tribe members storm out of the clubhouse, throwing their kuttes on the floor. The Sons head back inside to see that Jury has convinced the majority of his club to patch over.

Inside, Half-Sack takes interest in a woman called Rita 'Cherry' Zambell, he dances with her as the pair flirt. Clay soon walks over and takes over, leading Cherry away, he tells Half-Sack that she gives him a "serious chubby".

The following morning Clay receives a call from Jax, telling him that Mayans are on their way to Indian Hills, the club arm up and prepare to fight.

The club are able to hold off the Mayans without any real casualties.

"Giving Back"[]

At the table, Clay and Jax propose a deal bought to them by Otto 'Big Otto' Delaney, an imprisoned member of SAMCRO and a man he has been protecting inside, Charles 'Chuckie' Marstein, a former associated of the Lin Triad who hustled them for $400,000. Chuckie wants protection in exchange for SAMCRO getting cut in on the deal. Jax explains that they will split the money with Chuckie, 25% to the club, 25% for Otto which will go to Luann Delaney, his wife. Everyone is in agreement of the deal, despite Bobby explaining it will be dangerous as Henry Lin, the leader of the Lin Triad is ruthless.

Clay brings one more item to the table, April Hobart, a SAMCRO associate has asked for her ex-husband Kyle Hobart to attend Gemma's Taste of Charming fundraiser being held tomorrow. Kyle was excommunicated from SAMCRO after letting Opie get arrested nearly 10 years ago. There is some disagreement but Opie is surprisingly happy to allow Kyle to come, stating that Kyle has nothing left in his life after being kicked out of the club and his family leaving him. There is some disagreement but the vote eventually passes.

The club make their way to the Chinese restaurant with Chuckie in tow. Jax, Clay and Chuckie head inside and are able to find a bag of cash, they exit and quickly realise a number of other third parties have turned up and are interested in their findings, they pile in to the van and prepare to leave when they are boxed in from all angles as gunshots start flying. In the back of the van everyone hits the floor, inspecting the bag closer, Clay realises that their ill gotten gains aren't quite as lucrative as described. The cash in the bag is minimal and contains plates used for counterfeiting. Clay emerges from the van as Triad members aim guns at SAMCRO. Clay shows them the bag and says he wants to speak to Lin. Lin approaches and explains he is only interested in the plates. Clay and Lin are quickly able to strike a deal, on account of the cops about to show up, the club get $60,000 for the plates and Clay will even throw in Chuckie free of charge for his deceit. Chuckie yells for his life as Bobby hands him over to the Triads.

Back at the clubhouse, the club lure Kyle in to the garage at the prospect of showing him Bobby's vintage motorcycle. As the club circle him, Kyle quickly realises that there is no such things to speak of. Jax demands Kyle remove his shirt, he refuses and Bobby and Tig wrestle it off him, revealing his large SAMCRO back tattoo. Kyle begs for forgiveness, saying it is the only part of the club he still has left. Clay coldly asks Kyle if he would prefer fire or a knife to remove the ink. Kyle accepts his fate and says fire. The club string him up on a car lift as Tig lights a blowtorch, Jax gives Kyle a drink of some whiskey before Jax douses his back in it.

"AK-51"[]

Juice returns from Nevada with Cherry in tow, Half-Sack feels very uneasy seeing her and hides.

Gemma believes Half-Sack knows who she is, she also becomes suspicious of Clay when he appears angry at the sight of her. Gemma collars Half-Sack and asks him if Clay slept with the young woman. Half-Sack denies this but Gemma isn't convinced. Gemma breaks down in tears.

Half-Sack suddenly bursts in to Church and tells Clay he is needed outside. The club head outside and find Agent June Stahl of the ATF and Hale. Stahl asks who the owner of the garage is and Clay admits it is him, he is immediately arrested. Clay asks what the charge is and Stahl says he isn't being charged yet, she is just looking for some information about Nathan 'Nate' Meineke. Clay states he doesn't know who that is and Stahl informs him that he is responsible for holding up a prison transport and killing three people. The last call on his phone is from TM.

Jax strikes gold with a genius idea to use a septic tank to get the guns out of the clubhouse. A company is at the clubhouse clearing out the drains. Not all is well however, as Bobby returns with news that Laroy is refusing to buy the guns due to the heat associated with them.

The warrant finally comes through, hordes of armed ATF agents storm the clubhouse and quickly detain all the Sons. The Sons laugh to themselves as they know the feds won't find anything they can be charged with.

The feds leave empty handed and Chibs, Juice and Half-Sack head out to retrieve the guns from the septic tank.

Half-Sack visits Cherry in hospital, she had been attacked by Gemma, not believing his story about how he doesn't know who she is. Cherry tells Half-Sack that she won't press any charges against Gemma and she came to Charming for him. Half-Sack isn't sure but Cherry silences him with a kiss.

"Old Bones"[]

At the clubhouse. Half-Sack is boxing with Lowell Harland Jr. a mechanic at TM and a recovering drug addict. Half-Sack is a strong fighter, and says he was the Junior champion when he was in the army.

Half-Sack is informed that he will be boxing for $15k for the Sons. Clay has put him on a diet of no drink, drugs or Cherry, much to Half-Sack's dismay. Cherry will also be staying with Bobby until the fight is over, an agreement neither Half-Sack or Cherry are happy about.

Half-Sack performs in his first fight, he is able to win the fight with ease and nets the Sons a nice payday. The fights keep coming and Half-Sack dominates them all. Just before his final fight begins, Chibs and Tig drop the bomb that Half-Sack has to lose, everyone is betting on him, the heavy favourite to win, he will net the club a gigantic payday if he takes a dive.

Clay then sits with Cherry, Half-Sack sees Cherry kissing Clay on the cheek. He quickly becomes enraged. Clay stands and yells out for Half-Sack to drop but he pummels his opponent knocking him out. Clay rushes up and apologises to Bobby, Chibs and Tig, admitting it is his fault Half-Sack acted out. The club bail before things get out of hand.

Half-Sack apologises to Clay, Clay sarcastically remarks that at least he got the girl. He does however owe the club $35k according to Chibs.

"The Pull"[]

Jax returns to the clubhouse and informs the club of his crank discovery, he assisted at a roadside accident and discovered the drugs on the driver, he suspects it is the Nords. Juice confirms if it definitely Nord product and Tig says they should teach Darby a lesson. Jax says that he and Opie will go and speak to the driver of the truck and see what he has to say about the meth. Clay says that Luann is also fronting the club $55k, meaning they only need $15k more by the end of the day. Chibs tells Half-Sack that if he ever wants to get patched in, he needs to find them the remaining money.

Juice and Half-Sack head out on TM business, whilst out, Half-Sack spots an ambulance, he races to it and Juice questions what he is doing, he tells Juice he is getting his top rocker, Half-Sack dives in the ambulance as the driver exits and speeds away in it, leaving Juice in disbelief.

At the clubhouse, the club mock Half-Sack for stealing an ambulance, claming they can easily sell it for $100k. When asked where he can sell it to, he isn't able to answer, realising the many flaws in his plan. The club laugh at Half-Sack's expense and Clay tells Chibs to get rid of the ambulance after dark. Jax soon arrives, he briefly wonders why there is an ambulance in the garage but upon learning Half-Sack is responsible, he asks no further questions. Clay asks if Jax was able to learn anything from the truck driver, to which he quickly tells them about how he learned the Nords are dealing crank in Pope, where the driver fills up his tanker with diesel, Opie and Jax stole the tanker, and Jax flipped it to Unser at a cheap price. Meaning they now have enough money for the IRA.

Chibs, Juice, Jax, Opie and Half-Sack soon arrive at the bar where Clay and Tig were meeting the IRA. They learn that a shooting went down and Cameron Hayes, the Sons' new contact after McKeavey was killed by port commissioner Brenan Hefner for not wanting to pay more tax has also just been shot by Mayans who attacked the bar. The barman says he will take care of the Mayan body whilst the rest of the club get Cameron back to the clubhouse, in Half-Sack's very convenient ambulance.

Back at the clubhouse, Chibs says that they need real medical tools or Cameron will die, the bullet hit an artery and it being lodged inside of him is the only thing stopping him from bleeding out. Gemma soon arrives and is relieved to see everyone in one piece; Clay informs her that other charters are coming down and the clubhouse needs to be stocked. Jax says that he will speak to Tara and see what medical equipment she can assist them in getting.

"Better Half"[]

At the table, the club, joined by Unser who has been kicked out of his office to make way for the ATF discuss the recent return of Stahl. So far she has had Luann arrested on drug charges and Cherry on theft and arson. Unser says that Stahl is trying to use the RICO act to bring down the club, which will affect all of them, hence why he is sitting at the table. Jax says that Tara will never turn on the club and they have nothing to worry about regarding her. Bobby says that they can't get through to Otto, they have him on federal watch and he isn't allowed any phone calls. Jax theorises that Stahl is pressing Otto for history and using Luann as leverage. The club begin to grow concerned, knowing that Otto would do anything for Luann and Cherry also knows a lot of information about Indian Hills. The club devise a plan to use Unser and get Jax and Opie in to the police station to pass a message to Luann to warn Otto about Stahl using the RICO act, as the pair will most likely be allowed to see each other as some sort of leverage deal. They will also work on finding out where Cherry is. Clay, running out of ideas quickly agrees to Jax's plan, as does everyone else.

Cherry is eventually rescued by Jax from the station, much to Half-Sack's glee. The pair spent the night together and Cherry admits the truth of her past to Half-Sack, how her name isn't really Cherry, it's Rita and she was wanted for burning down her abusive husband's condo. Gemma soons knocks and tells the pair it is time to go, Cherry must flee the country. The pair say their goodbyes as Cherry asks Half-Sack not to forget her. Cherry later boards a truck with 'Happy' Lowman to be smuggled out.

"The Revelator"[]

Following the murder of Donna Winston, Opie's wife. Supposdely at the hands of the Niners, Jax is fearful that Piermont 'Piney' Winston will do something stupid, Half-Sack is ordered by Jax to tail Piney.

Jax receives a call from a frantic Half-Sack, he tells Jax that Piney is heading in to a Niners bar, probably looking for Laroy Wayne. Jax orders him to stay with Piney and he is on his way over. Half-Sack follows Piney and quickly realises that he has been caught following him, Half-Sack attempts to reason with Piney but he is not interested and Half-Sack follows him in to the bar. They enter the bar and things quickly turn ugly when Piney beats one of the Niners and pulls a gun on another, demanding to know where Laroy is.

Jax and Chibs race to the Niner bar and finds Laroy outside, they head inside and find Piney with a gun to the head of one of Laroy's men. Piney tells Jax to go, telling him that it doesn't involve him, one of them killed Donna and he is going to make it right. Laroy chimes in, asking what Piney is talking about. Jax pleads with Laroy, asking him that if Piney puts the gun down do they all walk out of the bar alive, Laroy agrees and Jax approaches Piney, signalling to Half-Sack to assist, Half-Sack elbows Piney, causing him to drop the gun and Jax to snatch it away. Jax, Piney and Laroy sit down and talk. Jax explains to Laroy what happened to Donna but Laroy tells them it was nothing to do with the Niners. Yes, the Niners and SAMCRO need to work out their issues but if their beef took him to the streets of Charming to start killing women, would they all really still be alive? Laroy suggests they be on their way quickly.

The following day, the club ride with Donna's funeral procession to the graveyard. Many associates, friends and family are also present. Jax arrives late, looking worse for wear, Tara stands and places his kutte on him, before kissing him passionately. Jax briefly pays his respects to Donna before taking off.

Season 2[]

"Albification"[]

The Sons test weapons they are purchasing from the True IRA, Cameron and his son, Edmond Hayes watch on. The Sons are interested but when Cameron proposes a different type of deal with the Sons running the guns instead of reselling them, nobody is too sure. The club briefly discuss and it soon realise that they have little options, they need the money and the IRA business, they will have to play along. Jax barters the Irish in to a bit of a sweeter deal and an agreement is made.

In Church, the club discuss revenge for Opie as Tig and Clay bring new evidence that it wasn't the Niners, this is backed by Clay and Piney who went to speak to Laroy directly. They concur that the Mayans are responsible. Opie says he wants to kill the Niner responsible, Opie, Tig, Chibs and Jax will head out to handle the business, everyone leaves.

A car rolls in to the lot and a group of men emerge, the Sons approach them with Clay telling them that the garage is closed. The lead man, Ethan Zobelle explains that he isn't there for repairs, he is there to give some advice to the Sons to stop selling guns to the Mayans and the Niners. The Sons laugh at him, with Clay giving the classic response that they are just motorcycle enthusiasts. Tig whispers to Clay that one of the men is a Nord and Zobelle confirms this, explaining that they are business parters with Darby. Clay looks Zobelle up and down, realising that they are white supremacists. Tig draws his gun and Zobelle addresses him by name, saying that he isn't going to shoot him with all these witnesses. He tells Clay that his cigar shop will be opening in a few weeks and leaves him with a gift of a cigar box until then, stating that he knows they are his favourite.

The celebrations rage on as Bobby is dropped off at the clubhouse by Stahl, finally free from prison after all the cases against him were dropped due to lack of evidence.

"Small Tears"[]

The Sons arrive at St. Thomas, Tara soon arrives to speak to them and informs them that Gemma was in a car accident, her face is pretty beaten up but she will be fine after they run some further tests. Unser approaches the Sons, telling them that Luann's porn studio has been hit and the feds have taken everything.

Jax, Bobby, Chibs, Juice and Half-Sack head to Luann's studio. Luann tells them about Georgie Caruso, a rival producer who is going to poach her girls, Luann says she needs the money she loaned the club back so she can pay her girls to keep them. Jax says it won't happen today but he will get Georgie off her back. They head to Georgie's studio and threaten him, Georgie says that he is trying to help Luann's girls but SAMCRO don't buy it. A very hungover Bobby throws up on Georgie's bodyguard and the club leave.

Jax rallies the guys to attack Georgie's studio after he hurt one of Luann's girls. They beat him, his crew and break his equipment.

At Church, Jax propses an idea to make Luann an official partner, they rent out the unused gun warehouse, they provide the muscle and split the profits with Luann, it's easy money, and it's a legitimate business, the club take a vote and it passes unanimously.

Later that night, SAMCRO head to the gun deal with the Niners, they are selling them 12 AK's after the Niners believe the Mayans will soon be acting against them. The trade is jumped by the Mayans, Bobby is shot and the weapons are stolen, Clay returns the money to Laroy, telling him they will get him more guns.

Back at the clubhouse, Tara is tending to Bobby. Jax is summoned by Clay, presumably for a scolding.

"Fix"[]

Opie and Half-Sack are out repossessing cars when they see a man selling drugs, they approach him and Opie warns him not to deal in Charming, the man retorts that he isn't anyone and some muscle appear, they are the Aryan Brotherhood. Opie begins to walk towards the three armed men but Half-Sack is able to convince him to back down.

Later on, Juice has finished gathering intel on Zobelle and the League of American Nationalists, a white supremacist organisation that paid the Sons a visit on the night of Bobby's party, they threatened the Sons and warned them to stop dealing guns to the Mayans and the Niners. As expected, Juice has discovered that Zobelle is a saint, he owns 5 cigar shops named "Impeccable Smokes" and he is a deacon at his church, he is widowed and has a daughter. Jax notices that the last place Zobelle had a cigar shop was in San Bernardino and a local MC called the War Boys Motorcycle Club attacked Zobelle's shop, causing them all to get arrested and the club to crumble. Clay mentions that the War Boys ran guns prior to being taken down. SAMCRO realise that Zobelle is trying to take down MC's to prep his own organisation for a race war, Jax becomes concerned that perhaps he has already gotten to Hale, Hale has never taken a bribe from the Sons before but perhaps Zobelle has what he wants, the key to get rid of SAMCRO from Charming. Opie is also tasked with tracking down Darby's meth labs, out on a reposession job earlier, he and Half-Sack found Darby was dealing again inside Charming.

"Eureka"[]

At the clubhouse, the club prepare to go on their blood drive charity ride, which is really an excuse to run guns for the IRA. The Sons mock Half-Sack as he explains that he is getting a testicle implant, he lost one of them during his time in Iraq.

As the club ride out again, Bobby has trouble with his vintage bike and accidentally crashes in to Tig, sending him flying off the road and down an embankment, his leg is badly injured. An ambulance is called for Tig who is too injured to ride and he is transported to a local hospital. Clay is furious with Bobby, telling him that he has to wipe Tig's ass if necessary. Jax says they will call Piney to bring the flatbed to transport Tig's bike home. Inside the hospital, a nurse explains to Bobby that Tig's insurance won't cover an out of town visit and he needs to be transferred. The club are furious as Tig and Bobby begin dishing out abuse at the hospital workers.

As Happy, Half-Sack and Bobby wheel Tig out of the hospital to bring him to another one, they are jumped by bounty hunters, the club piece together that the nurses must have called the police on Tig, who supposedly has a warrant out for his arrest. Tig is dragged in to the back of a van and they race off.

Happy, Half-Sack, Piney and Bobby rejoin the rest of the club. Half-Sack has tailed the bounty hunters and he knows where they are keeping Tig. He explains they beat him up on the side of the road and they took him to a local motel, most likely to patch him up, otherwise they cannot turn him in. An arguement breaks out between Jax and Clay. Clay wants Tacoma to come down and grab the guns before they get Tig, Jax says they should go right now as they don't know how long they are going to keep Tig in the motel for. Jax says Clay must call a vote and Clay shoves him, the others jump in to separate them as Bobby steps between them, explaining this is all his fault and everyone needs to calm down, then they will figure out what to do.

Jax storms off and finds Piney pulling away in the flatbed, passing him a shotgun he tells him to jump on and they can save Tig right now, Jax orders Chibs, Happy and Half-Sack to join him and they agree, jumping on the back of the flatbed as Bobby, Opie and Clay stare on.

As they arrive at the motel, Piney chooses the plan for himself, he rams the back of the truck through the wall of the motel room where Tig is being held, they hold the bounty hunters at gunpoint as Tig dives on to the flatbed, they taunt the bounty hunters and Piney speeds away.

The club reunite after Tig is saved. Tensions continue to run high as Jax accuses Opie of taking Clay's side. The drop off is completed and they meet the Joilette Charter halfway, delivering the guns.

Later on as the club party with other Oregon charters, Bobby states that when they're home, he is going to lock Clay and Jax in a room and get them to settle their beefs. Chibs says Clay can't handle getting older and Jax pushing him out. Opie chimes in and says Jax needs to get over his father issues and that Clay isn't going anywhere.

"Potlatch"[]

Half-Sack has returned to the clubhouse after his neutical surgery, Tig, Bobby and Happy examine it, with the trio noting that it seems to be larger than it's supposed to be. Half-Sack missed a lot whilst recovering from his surgery, Chibs has been hospitalised after the League planted a car bomb in TM, nearly killing him and the club were arrested on weapons charges, whilst in jail for a short stint, Jax and Clay's beef got worse, with them engaging in a brutal brawl inside jail. Opie arrives, and the group sit down to discuss the beef with Clay and Jax. Bobby says that whatever is going on between them is worse than Zobelle and the ATF, that alone can destroy them. Opie says he can talk to Jax and try to figure it out, whilst Tig will speak to Clay. After they know the truth, they can take it to the table to try and resolve. Jax then arrives, he says that the Chinese have called and want a sit down, he is going to Cara Cara.

The club sit down for a meeting with Lin, he explains that their gun distributor is currently unavailble and they need hardware, he specified AK's, noting that he will pay the club double what he normally would. He offers a gift as a show of good faith and Chuckie, (missing all but his two index fingers) is dragged in. Clay initially refuses the offer of Chuckie, telling Lin he will let him know about the guns. Chuckie pleads with Clay, saying they will just kill him if SAMCRO doesn't take him in. Tig tells Lin that they will take him, he can do the books at Cara Cara to free up Bobby.

The club exit with Chuckie in tow, Tig questions if they are really going to get the IRA guns with Stahl and the ATF back in town, especially seeing as Clay learned from Stahl inside of jail that the IRA are also possibly selling to the League. Clay says they will set up a meet with Edmond and feel him out, Stahl could be lying, after all. Opie says he is going to Cara Cara and is ordered to take Chuckie with him to put him to work. Clay says he wants the guys to stay available.

Clay, Happy, Tig and Half-Sack head to Edmond's house and question him on where their AK's are, Edmond says he sold them and they will get another shipment soon. Half-Sack and Tig get in Edmond's face, but he stands his ground, saying he doesn't appreciate SAMCRO being suspicious of his intentions. Clay says everything is fine, they just had an emergency order they wanted to fulfil. The club exit, unanimously agreeing that the guns are definitely in Edmond's house, waiting to be sold to Zobelle. Half-Sack is ordered to watch Edmond's house and see if any Aryans show up.

Half-Sack watches the house and sees AJ Weston, Zobelle's second arriving, he calls Clay and is ordered to follow him.

Clay, Tig, Half-Sack and Happy link up near the AB members. They were unable to contact everybody else so it is just the four of them to try and retrieve the guns. Clay is furious, demanding Tig keep calling them.

Unable to rouse anyone else, they eventually roll up on Weston, they jump him and retrieve the guns, Weston laughs at them, noting how bad their timing is. A truck full of AB members rolls up and starts laying down fire, the Sons dive for cover, but Clay wants the guns. He steps out in to the line of fire and Half-Sack jump to his aid, covering him before dragging him away, knowing he cannot salvage anything. They pile back in to the flatbed and flee. Clay stares down Tig as they race away, shocked that he didn't try to assist him.

They return to Gemma's house for dinner in time to see Lyla storming out. She is furious over the disrespect she receives from the other women of SAMCRO. Back inside another brawl nearly erupts when half the club lost their gun shipment as Bobby, Opie and Jax were not around to help. Hale arrives to deliver the harrowing news that Luann has been found dead. Clay immediately knows Jax is behind the payback for what happened and the night ends in disaster as the club is in disarray, tensions running higher than ever.

"Fa Guan[]

Clay says they have a new gun source so they no longer need it, and adds on that autorepair is also a legitimate business, that doesn't make his skin crawl. Jax argues that the gun business has cost lives and money, they have lost far more than they have earned. Clay tells Jax that he had Luann killed and tied the club to prostituion. Jax smirks, asking Clay if he is really going to lay the death of a SAMCRO old lady on him. Clay tells Jax that he will make good on that promise he made him, Jax takes out his gun and cocks it before handing it to Clay and turning his back, daring him to shoot him. Clay hesitates before dropping the gun. Jax tells Clay that he needs a majority vote to shut down Cara Cara, they will vote tomorrow.

Clay sees Happy patrolling the clubhouse, he asks him why he isn't at the judge's house, and Happy says that Jax is handling it. A furious Clay tells Happy to call Nomads. Clay, Happy, Half-Sack and the Nomads assault Darby's various businesses that Clay has found out about.

The club head to St. Thomas, Chibs is finally being released after weeks of recovering from his explosive assassination attempt.

In the van ride home, Half-Sack explains to Chibs that Cara Cara has burned down and Jax is blaming Clay, citing his efforts to refocus the club's vision on the gun trade. As a result of their ever brewing tension, Jax has decided to go Nomad. Chibs is horrified to hear this. Chibs reaches in to the glove box and pulls out a gun, he cocks it and demands Half-Sack hang a left, to which he obliges. The pair drive to Edmond's storage shop and Chibs kicks open the door, firing a few shots at Edmond before grabbing him and slamming him down on the counter with the gun to his head. Chibs demands to know why the IRA have been selling guns to the League. Cameron soon arrives armed with a shotgun, which he points at Chibs, demanding he let Edmond go. Chibs obliges and in another twist, Jimmy O appears from the back of the shop, Chibs informs him that the Sons have a new gun pipeline, to which Jimmy sternly tells Chibs that he doesn't. Jax bursts through the door with his own gun drawn, the situation is calmed by Jimmy who greets Jax and gets him to put the weapon down. Jax tries to coax Chibs to leave, who marches up to him and tells him that he isn't his VP anymore, now he is going Nomad.

The trio return to the clubhouse, everyone else is glad to see Chibs safe and sound. Chibs is immediately confrontational to Clay, demanding to know why he wasn't informed of the recent developments surrounding the IRA, the League and Jax going Nomad. Clay tells him that they wanted him to heal, to which Chibs replies that he is all better. Tig says they can discuss it all at the table later.

Opie and Half-Sack head out on a repossessing run, they find themselves on the Wahewa Tribe land. They repo a woman's van and return it to TM. Half-Sack begins to rife through its contents and discovers it is full of homemade bullets. Tig and Clay are called over to examine and the group agree to return to speak to the Wahewa woman.

Clay, Tig, Opie and Half-Sack head back to the Wahewa land to speak to the woman. They discuss with her son and Clay gives them an offer they can't refuse, sell them their homemade bullets or they will crush their business. They check out how the tribe make their bullets, the son explains to Clay that they also sell their bullets to the local police and they can craft any type of bullet the Sons could need. One of the men offers Clay some magic mushrooms, asking if they know a distributor, Clay says he could make a few calls, but he wants to sample the product, Half-Sack is ordered to eat the mushrooms to test them out, and Tig is encouraged also, to which he agrees.

"Service"[]

The following morning at Church, the table is full, plenty of people are surprised to see the SAMCRO patches back on Jax's kutte as he sits at Clay's side once again. Jax explains that he isn't going Nomad and Clay explains why, Gemma was assaulted and raped by the League. The table is furious at Clay's bombshell and voices begin to raise demanding blood. Jax and Clay silence their brothers, explaining that they need to be patient and find a weakness, their gun charges are still pending and a show of force will land them right back in jail, exactly what Zobelle wants. Clay demands SAMCRO swallow the urge to kill any League members until they have a final plan. The topic of their gun problems arise, with Clay explaining there has been a delay in getting the Chinese guns, they will need to tap in to their personal stock.

Half-Sack stumbles around the clubhouse, he finds Tara patching up Tig after he and Opie got in to a physical altercation. Half-Sack asks Tara about his testicle implant, explaining that it is quite painful, Half-Sack asks Tara if she can take a look at it and without waiting for an answer, he drops his pants, Tara is shocked at what she sees and tells Half-Sack it is very infected and he needs to get to the hospital immediately. Chibs is still concerned that Jimmy is going to hurt his family after Stahl exposes him as a rat, Jax tries to reassure him. Unser steps forward and gives the club some images of Zobelle meeting with the IRA, with these images they should be able to convince Jimmy that the betrayal is from Edmond and Cameron, not from SAMCRO.

Using Chuckie as a distraction, the Sons are able to lead the ATF away from Edmond's stash house, they meet Jimmy there and pick up their guns.

The Sons ride out to meet the League for their fight night, organised earlier by Jax and Weston. As expected, Weston has turned up with numerous men and weapons. Weston scoffs at them telling them "Fair is for losers, I'd rather win". Niners and Triad members armed to the teeth emerge from the trees, outnumbering the Aryans at least 4 to 1. Weston submits, telling his guys to drop their weapons. Jax suggests they stick to the plan and a mass brawl breaks out between the 20 men, every member of the Sons wins their 1 on 1 as sirens begin blaring. Hale arrives on the scene, furious at the Sons and the AB for getting in to it inside Charming. Weston is then arrested for arson by Hale. Clay tells Tig to call Unser and get him to move on the cigar shop.

SAMCRO soon arrive at the cigar shop and Clay hits Polly Zobelle, Zobelle's daughter. Unser jumps to his feet but Clay assures Unser that Polly is just as guilty as the rest of them as he takes his gun to her. Zobelle, hearing the commotion runs to the front of the store and is quickly restrained by the Sons. Clay puts his gun to Zobelle when suddenly Hale arrives with backup. Zobelle immediately tells Hale that the Sons are threatening his life. Unser pulls rank, telling Hale that he is still the Chief and he has the situation under control, he and the other deputies need to leave. The deputies comply, as Hale prepares to leave, Zobelle shouts that he and Polly are in posession of narcotics, one of the deputies pulls out a brick of heroin and Hale arrests them both. Jax tells Zobelle that they are going to kill him as he is taken away.

"Na Trioblóidí"[]

The Sons anxiously wait outside Charming PD, wanting to know the fate of both Zobelle and Weston. Unser exits and tells them that Stahl is in a meeting with the FBI and Zobelle, he has no more news. Half-Sack is sent back to the clubhouse to watch over Gemma and Tara.

Gemma, Tara and Half-Sack head out to pick up supplies for the rest of the families at the clubhouse. Half-Sack follows as Gemma drives and they arrive at a seemingly random street. Half-Sack is told my Tara that he needs to stay with Gemma as she may need to get out fast.

Half-Sack sees fleets of cops and ATF arriving at the house, he quickly flees the scene.

Half-Sack arrives back at the house and tells Tara that he had to flee and leave Gemma, feds arrived at the house. Tara calls Jax and begins to explain that Gemma followed Polly before Cameron Hayes, armed with a gun storms the house, he hangs up the call and disarms Half-Sack, telling them that Gemma killed Edmond, his son. Cameron says that maybe he will kill an old lady and even the score, aiming his gun at Tara. Half-Sack, fuelled with adrenaline is jumpy and ponders diving at Cameron who trains the gun on him instead, telling him to not get brave and demanding he sit. Cameron makes his way to Abel and draws a large kitchen, saying "Son for a son, seems about right".
