Goodman was a corrupt detective in Oakland on the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. Played by American actor Derek Anthony, Goodman makes his debut in the season five premiere, "Sovereign". Goodman met his demise during subsequent episode, "Authority Vested".

"Sovereign"[]

In the fifth season's premiere, he helps Damon Pope lure Tig Trager into a trap, where the latter sees his daughter, Dawn Trager, burned alive as revenge for killing the former's daughter, Veronica Pope. Afterward, a cleaner is called, while Pope leaves Goodman to watch Tig. However, Tig manages to get his bound hands from behind his back, and then insults the detective so that he'll confront him. When Goodman is close enough, Tig strikes him and uses the chains binding his hands to strangle him to death. Afterwards, he kills the cleaner.
