He is dragged back to Stahl and explains to her that it is the only way he could get Cameron on the phone, telling him to come back to the safehouse and that it's clear. He warns Stahl that Cameron is smart and he will realise that the ATF are on him if a whole team shows up, it should just be him and Stahl that go back to the safehouse, Stahl agrees.

At Edmond's house, he excuses himself to go to the bathroom and he retrieves his hidden gun, he exits and approaches Stahl with it who convinces him to put it down before taking it off him and shooting him with it, the gun is filled with blanks. Stahl explains that they knew about his gun, and the hidden cellphone at the dock, they have been one step ahead of him this whole time. Edmond sits, demanding to know why they put him through everything if they had him anyway. Stahl says she just wanted to know if he had the balls to go through with it, stating that she is now going to text Cameron and tell him that the deed is done.
