Synopsis[]
War descends on Santo Padre.
Plot[]
EZ stares down the attackers as they hop the fence in to the Santo Padre compound, his face says it all, he wants to fight until the end, Angel dashes out in the nick of time to save his brother from a foolish decision and drags him in to the clubhouse as Creeper scrambles out of the truck which he has just parked in front of the gate. As the Santo Padre Mayans prepare for war, Hank bursts in to Templo, where Bishop and Taza are struggling over a gun. It becomes apparent Bishop opted not to kill Taza, but that the latter is trying to kill himself. Hank goes through their weapon supply and curses angrily as he realises their surplus of weapons are missing. Everyone inside the clubhouse, now fully aware of what is at stake, the battle begins. EZ and Hank head up to the roof and start shooting at the Mayans below, EZ is able to kill one. However, they soon find themselves pinned down and a very much alive Canche is yelling for EZ. Hank is shot in the leg as they try and get back down into the clubhouse and almost falls off the roof, but is saved by EZ and pulled back down the ladder hatch to safety. When they do finally make it down, EZ confirms for everyone that Canche survived the attempt on his life.
Rabbit, a Tucson Mayan is killed and his brother, Berto, fruitlessly attempts CPR. They drag Hank to safety as others begin fortifying the clubhouse best they can, EZ drops another body as he continues shooting through the window. As the battle rages around them, Nails goes to help Hank with his wound, but he refuses, claiming that he's fine. The Mayans outside then turn off the power to the clubhouse, leaving Santo Padre in the dark. Rosa tries to make a call to the police but Bishop catches her in the act and furiously smashes her phone to pieces In response, reminding her they never call the police. Santo Padre and Tucson Mayans convene to take stock of their weapons, and things look dire. That's when they get the idea to fight back by turning their liquor supply into molotov cocktails and to get floodlights from the garage to help them see. The girls get to work creating firebombs as Taza drinks in to their supply, proving especially useless in their time of need, he currently wants nothing more than to die.
The club plan to send Creeper out to gather some floodlights; and Angel pipes up and agrees to cover him. Nails nervously speaking up, refusing Angel from doing so, noting her now obvious pregnancy. Creeper tells Angel to stay behind and EZ clambers on to the roof with his supply of cocktails to help Creeper get to the garage. A Mayan attacks EZ from behind and puts a gun to his head, apologising. EZ is able to stab the attacker and kick him from the roof. Once that's taken care of, EZ starts throwing molotovs, which allows Creeper to get the floodlights from the garage. Back inside, Angel continues to lay down covering fire, killing another attacker. Eventually, though, things take a turn against Santo Padre. EZ ends up getting pinned down and accidentally lit on fire, as Cielo and EZ fan the flames, one of the attacking Mayans closes in on Creeper, forcing him to hide inside the garage, he is eventually able to out manoeuvre the attacker, and shoots him to death. Grabbing the gasoline, he makes a mad dash back to the clubhouse. As he does so, he realises that the attackers are close to getting through the gate. Having already been struck once in the shoulder, In a moment of madness and dedication, Creeper charges for another truck and dives in to the drivers seat, and rams it back in to the gates, forcing more attackers back. He races back to the clubhouse as bullets rain around him, he is shot in the neck and the leg as he reaches the door, and is dragged inside by Angel and Bishop.
We then cut to Gilly and Coco who are returning to the clubhouse from Meth Mountain, they are surprised by the attackers and their van is lit up. They scramble for cover behind it as Gilly briefly explains what's been going on in Coco's absence. They argue over who is going to secure the guns from the truck and Coco eventually draws the short straw, as he reaches the truck, he is firebombed, forcing the pair to flee.
Inside, the club prepares to turn the floodlights and surprise the attacking Mayans. Creeper is patched up best as he can be by Cielo, Jess and Nails, with Cielo cauterising a particularly lethal wound on Creeper's neck. Seeing a chance, Rosa dashes out the door with her hands raised, she is met with a hail of gunfire. Taza decides now is the best time to speak up and a brief verbal altercation between him and Bishop ensues. They're interrupted by the sound of footsteps on the roof. Initially, they think they're the steps of their foes, but it's soon revealed to be Gilly and Coco. They explain they climbed on EZ's trailer to get on the roof. That distraction, though, allows the attacking Mayans to close in on the clubhouse. The Santo Padre club flicks on their floodlights and starts shooting the attacking Mayans, taking many of them down in the process, before their ammo reserves run low.
Bishop struggles to make a decision on how they should proceed as the sun begins to come up, Taza's plan of dying, doesn't sit too well with him, so he puts his gun to his head. Coco starts making an inspirational speech about how they can pull through and refuse to fail, but Bishop immediately lays into him for his recent absences. Coco tries to place the blame on Leticia, his daughter, saying she was in trouble, and he had to deal with it himself.
The chants of the crowd outside grow closer, as they have now reached the steps of the clubhouse. EZ looks defeated, he looks around at everyone inside the clubhouse, in an equally perilous situation as he is in. Angel hands Nails his sidearm, and makes her promise to not let them hurt her or their child. Overhearing their conversation, Hank calls his mother for a heart-wrenching farewell in which he still, to the very end, tries to take care of her.
EZ, knowing deep down he has bought all this on to his brothers, puts his gun down and stands up. He yells for Canche, saying he'll come out if he lets the others go. But Canche refuses, saying he'll kill everyone inside anyway. EZ continues to try and reason with him, taking responsibility for the attempt on Canche's life and saying no more blood needs to be spilled. Despite the protestations of the other Santo Padre members, EZ says a prayer and steps out the door.As EZ walks up to Canche, we see for the first time that the back of Canche's head is burned from the blast. The other Santo Padre Mayans soon follow EZ out in solidarity. Canche responds by hitting EZ with the butt of his rifle.
As EZ comes round, he sees everyone on their knees next to him. Rifles pointed at them. Canche monologues, naming all of those who EZ's plan killed, saying they were his brothers. Berto is shot in the head by a Stockton Mayan patrolling behind the group. He vows to take away EZ's family to pay him back for taking away his. Canche puts his gun under Angel's head, demanding EZ looks, and a gunshot rings out. Initially, EZ thinks Canche has shot Angel. However, the shot actually heralds the arrival of Marcus Alvarez, who has shot the Stockton Mayan playing the role of executioner. Alvarez wades through the crowd, horrified, he questions Bishop and Canche as to what they have done, before headbutting a Mayan who dare get in his way. He yells that the Mayans is his club.

Templo Meetings[]
(Not technically a Templo meeting)
Canche: You fucking come at me? At my fucking kid? My boy? He was looking at me. At the blast. His sight... they don't know how much he'll get back. Maybe that was a good thing. He didn't have to watch Big Paul crawl across the floor with... his lower body gone. While you ran off like a fucking coward! (kicks EZ in the face) They were your brothers! Your fucking brothers! Tommy, Ganso, Indio. Did you celebrate? Did you celebrate while they picked up the pieces of their bodies? (chuckles) 'cause we celebrated Ibarra. And now, his old lady's gonna need to get him a closed casket; as will all of yours.
Stockton Mayan: (shoots Berto in the head)
Coco: Fuck! Fuck! What the fuck? Get the fuck off me! (panting)
Canche: Ramos was our brother. He only wanted what was best for the club, and you shot him in the face. You're rabid animals. You need to be put down.
Stockton Mayan: (puts gun to Bishop's head)
Bishop: Fucking do it.
Canche: (puts gun to EZ's head) You came at my family. Now I come after yours. (puts gun to Angel's head) Look at him.
EZ: No.
Canche: Look at him!
EZ: (laboured breathing and grunting)
(a gunshot rings out and a body hits the ground, it is revealed to be the executing Stockton Mayan)
Alvarez: (enters) What have you done? You're gonna point a gun at my primo, ése? You're gonna point a gun at me, motherfucker? (punches the Mayan) What have you done, Canche?
Canche: Marcus, we didn't start this. We didn't start this.
Alvarez: (to Bishop) What have you done, primo? This is my fucking club. You fucking hear me? You fucking hear me? This is my fucking club!
