The Basetown Tribe, or BTT, are a Samoan-American street gang on Mayans MC, a spinoff of the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. Based out of San Bernardino, California, the gang makes their debut on the series' premiere episode, "Perro/Oc", in sesaon one.

Background[]
It is implied that some members of the Tribe served in Iraq. They are known to be involved in prostitution and selling marijuana.
Season 1[]
The Basetown Tribe hijacked a Galindo Cartel drug shipment from the Mayans, Santo Padre after being hired by Luisa Adelita" Espina from Los Olvidados, who was tipped off by members of the Mayans that didn't support the club's involvement with the cartel.
Soon afterwards, the Mayans visited BTT at their base of operations in a cemetery. Most members were killed at the meeting, with the help of the Sons of Anarchy, San Bernardino , as a result their shot-caller, Afa Lefiti, was kidnapped and interrogated before having his arm cut off by a Galindo Cartel member, and died of blood loss.
